Not once does the bible implies that the man is the prize but it does tell the men to loveve their wives as Christ love the church. This argument about who is the prize is ridiculous. I don't think a man willing to rase a step child is a simp. It would be far easier to just walk away. But he stood up and shouldered the responsibility. That is not a simp. That is a man taking the load. All the small dynamics that may be in play doesn't change the fact that he took over raising a child that wasn't being raised by the biological father.
