    Your advice & suggestions are excellent, of altranate to sand & cement in brick laying, where we will minimize use of water & laborers with speed where we can bring down the cost of construction by saving on labor, water.I request to suggest sustainable alternatives to cement & sand slurry to BOND ADHESIVE where we can attain speed with lower cost,PLEASE SUGGEST BOND ADHESIVE FOR LAYING CEMENT BLOCKS.

    U suggested to reduce clay bricks because of extensive use of mud/soil .where as when we use hollow blocks /solid blocks we are cutting down mountains to make m sand and gravel which is worst than clay .

    AAC or CLC blocks are very good for even ground floor outer walls no limitations is there for Residential projects (homes)..
    It is restricted for Public buildings or infrastructures only (that too only for Ground floor)..
    So, any one can use AAC blocks for ground floor outer walls without any doubt..

    In coastal Karnataka, RED stone blocks are used (which saves 30-40% building material). these are generally very heavy, tough and durable.

  • @shrihara
    @shrihara 3 роки тому

    We have ground floor only house built 50 years back, we want to construct two rooms in first floor. Ground floor is built with 10 inches load bearing walls using clay brick and pure river sand. Foundation is strong enough with 5 feet deep. My question is -
    1. Can I construct first floor using Cement Block bricks as load bearing walls on first floor?
    2. Can I construct using M-Sand or should I continue wuth river sand?
    3. We are constructing 1st floor load bearing walls resting exactly on GF load bearing walls and rest the roof on them, but can we construct inner partition walls using AAC block or fly ash altering the ground floor plan? I mean inner walls in first floor do not rest on inner walls on ground floor. Is that possible using light weight AAC block or fly ash?

    • @GANGADHAR631
      @GANGADHAR631 3 роки тому +1

      See you told it has already 50 years old before construction of FF check the condition of building foundation ,wall conditions bcz it's already load bearing, if it seems to be good you can construct first floor with Concrete blocks with well compacted , it should not be porous. this is 1st clarification
      2) You can use M-sand with double washed. It's acceptable
      3) your third point is ok
