Only the third year will be hectic, so you can choose to take lesser courses from your main branch and focus more on the MSc branch that time, which is how most people do it, apart from that it will even help you in placements!

Firstly thank you so much brother! If you don't get CS branch after first year you will have to choose another branch for yourself, so there is some risk factor, but it is less compared to single degree students
How many seats are available for dualites in each be program such as cs, ece. Eee after 1 yr , is seats are fixed or depending upon availability,
Depends on availability but mostly if you get a CGPA of more than 7, it is a guaranteed seat for you!

Actually all your MSc Dual Degree courses, get over by 3rd year itself, and only the Main Branch courses remain for 4th year

if we take ece or eee and we wanna switch to cs can we do it?
For Dual degrees the cutoff to get ECE or EEE is around 6.5 CGPA and above, but for switch from main branch to CS branch, the cutoffs are very high, around 9.8 CGPA, so ya you can switch but it requires a crazy high CGPA

Does the dual degree course means that we have also completed our masters degree as well?
Yes, but only in the particular MSc course. Say for example it is MSc Eco + CS, then your Masters are completed in Eco and Bachelors are completed in CS
If i take bits hyd msc course them how much cgpa should i score in my first year and how hard is it(like compared to the jee grind).
It is slightly easier than the JEE grind, and you shld be targetting a CGPA of atleast 7+ to get any branch that you want!

@@EJCUBER It should be above 7 to be safe, usually cutoff is near 6.8 CGPA
What's the min bitsat score for opting a dual degree??
Min cutoff would be around 130s since it is form a Bpharm degree, but if you want and MSc degree it is 190s but you shld be aiming way higher than the mark to hit the actual mark

Not sure about any branch, but you will definitely get 2,3 of the MSc branches with that score, it's a very safe score💪

Looks good brother, but the third year is super hectic in circuit branches, and ECE is the most hectic course, but good placements there, so as long as you can survive that you are good to go!!

It is not that tough to get 7+ CGPA, if you work decently hard it is possible, but usually prefer not taking it only because one extra year, and they don't want to take risk of not getting 7+ CGPA
i got 213 i realise i have no hope of getting any decent branch so i have to see next phase i guess
You can surely take a dual degree course, and then based on your CGPA choose your next branch

Is there any difference between BITS Pilani and Hyderabad... What to choose . We belong to TN.... Will it be wise to choose Hyd campus as it is near. ..ant difference in academics, internships and placements
I would still suggest go for the Pilani campus, coz the placements are much better there! Ik it may be a bit far but still Pilani compared to Hyd, Pilani would be the better choice. Or you can choose Goa if you even want a good college life

Bhaiya if we do Msc course which is a dual degree, will we receive our engineering degree like BTech degree first then Msc degree or just Msc degree?? and the followup question is if we sit in placements do we get judged on the basis of our degree like is there any preferential treatment towards BTech students???
We will get a BE degree and an MSc degree! And for the placements thing, actually companies favour dual degree students since they have two degrees!

I think you might get CSE at Hyd Campus, but very slight changes of that, again will depend on cutoffs this year
does having a dual degree affect placements? my sister told me that in their college (NIT Jalandhar) students who completed their msc in the 5th year were not allowed to sit in btech placements, does this happen here in bits?and suppose you are doing msc and your BE degree is in some other branch than cs, can you sit in cs branch placements?
Hey brother, dual degree does not affect placements as such, rather the companies favour you since you have an extra degree. Secondly, you can always sit for IT placements even if you don't have CS branch, and the company will decide whether they want you or not.

For this there are a lot of complications, I've heard that you have to give TOEFL and all to prove your language proficiency. Again not very sure about this, I'd recommend focusing on the main courses, coz otherwise your placements would get affected

Yes! 232 is a pretty safe score!
Msc Bio can be taken by MPC Student ?
Yesyes definitely! After taking Bio you can do another Tech course as your main course and continue with BioTech if you wish to

Bhai, I'm not sure about this, I can't decide this for you, and moreover the official cutoffs can vary based on how students have answered the exams, but I think you may get some good Msc Branch

If you are planning to study super hard in first year only then go for the MSc branch, or else you can take ECE also and sit for IT placements later, so if you want CSE very bad and you're okay with using one year of your life to get one more extra degree, only then go for Dual degree!

240 should be a safe score! But if you want any MSc branch in any campus, you should Target 280s

I have seen certain companies favouring some students who've got MSc Eco + CS, but it also depends on your interview! Basically any company will favour two degrees over just one!

You may get MSc Bio with these scores, but again not sure, depends on how the other students have answered it, usually it's in this range!

I think the cutoffs for circuit branches might be higher, you may have to do a dual degree and then later apply for it

Definitely open to most of the circuit branches for single degree! CSE at Bits Hyd can be kept on hold, will have to wait and see the cutoffs for that

That depends on how you like it, for me I chose Electronics and Communication in Goa, over Electronics and Electrical in Pilani
