Hello mate,Hope you enjoyed your tour... Zimbabwe Africa is the best place to be 👌👌
Zimbabwe is so beautiful so much nature I miss home already even though I was there Oct last year
I could watch your films, James and Kirsten, every day all day. Just wonderful.
The Hendrys are back!
Yeah!!!!! Great way to start the New Year.
It has been some years since I have hung around the Wild Earth crew on the daily safaris. So it was both heartbreaking and thrilling to hear my favorite guide crush utter the word "wife". Congratulations! Upon googling to find the details, I see that I am rather late to the party... but what delightful news and I hope the honeymoon phase is still going strong. I am glad to see that marriage seems to have only improved everything talented and lovable about you, James. Thank you to you and the family for sharing this adventure through this work of art and humor.
James, James, James. Never stop making these videos! My wife and I rented a 4X4 and toured Namibia in 2006 and we relive our tour through you and your lovely wife, Kirsten. If you're ever in Tennessee, PM me!
Marvelous! Thanks for allowing us to hitch a ride to your adventures. Your empathy and good humored narrative make this especially enjoyable (as in your guiding videos at Kruger National Park).
Mana pools was one of my best experience. Thank you for inducing familiar memories.#4pools🥰
These shows just aren't long enough!
Hello James and Kirsten, so good to be with you again. Thanks muchly for taking us along. New year's blessings. Gloria 🐂
Good to see my old Varsity pal Piet taking you birding in Harare, all the best James.
As a fan of paleontology, that image of the buffalo skeleton upright in the mud surrounded by carnivores is profound to me.
Great video, James and Kirsten. Can’t wait for the next one!!
2:49 Never knew that someone would print the beer can in reverse. :-)
Aha, you are in my homeland. Looking forward to your adventure.
Oh wow! Here we go! Thank you!
Thank you for visiting our breautiful country. I'm sure by now you've realised that what you read in the papers is completely different. This is m second best travel vlog since ItchyBoots adventures. Great editing, and your dry humor, posh accent and quips make for an enjoyable show
thank you, james and kirsten and parents! lovely time with y'all once again. thanks so much for the chameleon to start my new year off wonderfully...love my lizzies! ready for next time already!
Beautiful country is my 🇿🇼...jus got home sick now

Happy New Year James and Kirsten + parents. I am proudly Zimbo and I would advise you to visit Rukomechi and my hometown, Kariba.🍻🍻🥂
Delightful as always, and so wonderful to have you two (plus Rob and Page!) back! We miss you James and Kirsten…..and your lovely warmth and wit! Stay safe from those buffs and leons!
I can't wait to show this to my mom on her big screen tv. ☺️

James Henry- very funny_ intro about in-laws
Excellent! So well done. 🙏
Loved your video James, you an Kirsten are awesome ppl. You have to make a trip to our gonarezhou national park one day.
It's definitely on our list!
Makuti Lodge was our final stop every trip to Mana before dropping into the Valley
Love you guy’s…I wish you the happiest New Year ever! We make it what it is, don’t we 😜
Just wonderful...I'm playing this over and over..
Awesome…thank you
The Makuti direction sign was Brilliant! Egypt Pyramids 6160 KM, Clouds End Hotel & Beer 163 MTRS. LOL! The Carmine (sp?) Bee Eaters are stunning!
Wow! this was well worth the wait - you with the lions, awesome.
This was great James, and you added in your own music, and editing, just a great video! and I bet you had a lot of fun making it.

You are a legend james hendry ever since i started following you from wild earth.
3 seconds in and already breathtakingly beautiful.
Awesome adventure! I like the choice of music.
Glad you enjoyed it!
It would appear I forgot to hit comment hours ago when I first watched. My apologies! :) You guys just get better and better with each video series and you were good on the first one! Both quality of video and music. I loved everything but I have to say those carmine bee eaters are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us, it's the closest I am likely to get. Happy and healthy new year to you both and your families! Can't wait for the next episode and a live chat!
Lions while on foot - oh my god! I would be tense in that situation!
Swop the inlaws sunscreen for barbecue sauce and you should be safe from the lions at night... 🤣 We Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Excellent suggestion
A great start to another great series. Lions? Dangerous? Who'd have thought? Rofl! The buffalo skeleton was so cool. Beautifully done video. Looking forward to episode 2.

Happy New Year to you both. I'm so excited to get into this series it makes me feel like I'm there
Wowed as usual. Remarkable intro and definitely a unique place. What is up with that fully intact carcass standing on the river? very bizarre. Must say, it so warms my heart that Kirsten’s folks have an adventurous spirit. The makings of so many special memories for your family 🥰. Happy New Year to you both may 2022 fill you with many extras special blessings 😘
So excited to be joining you and Kirsten (+family!) into the wilds of Zimbabwe aka Rhodesia. As always your narritive is spot on and photography - outstanding!🥃🍻🙈🦁
+1 for "Rhodesia".👍
Rhodesia is all a wet dream now
Happy New Year. I love your videos and watch whenever I see them. Brilliant James.

Next time!

Marianne NZ
Our pleasure!
Happy New Year! Wonderful to see you both and the parents out and about again. Fantastic video as always James, thank you.
You are truly a master KING JAMES
Some gorgeous Fauna. The addition of Birdlife anywhere invigorates and brightens up any scene. The Lions thankfully appeared friendly or they were still digesting their last meal and/or bipeds aren’t quite to their taste........ Looking at that Buffalo’s skeleton reminds me that I’ve heard that there’s an appalling drought going on in Zimbabwe right now and it’s been the case for a few years now. Just how dire is it at the moment?....... Thank You for another great post.......... ☮️⚛️ 💚🐾 🌏
This was wonderful! Thank you!
Thank you James, just love watching your travels and adventures with Kirsten and now with her family. I hope you all have a wonderful New Year and you stay safe and healthy! Safe travels!
Love it!
Happy New year 🎉🎊
Perfect way to begin 2022!
Really enjoyed this episode and can't wait for the rest of the series!!
❤️🇬🇧
The very best for 2022!
Thank you James and Kirsty. Happy New Year to you both. Looking forward to the next episode…
Missed your LIVE chat - was there one? IDK. I found the stream at 12:03pm and you’ve already gone. :(
No live stream for this episode, we will keep you posted if we do one for other episodes
This was fantastic and I am looking forward to part 2 of the adventure.
Wishing y'all the very best in 2022.
Wow James, those trees after you left the Zimbabwean airport were mind-blowingly gorgeous. Their beautiful purple flowers reminded me of the purple lilacs that only come out once a year here, May-June. Do you know their species, please?
The red birds flying around the waterhole are gorgeous!! Our most common red bird is the beautiful male Cardinal, however the tawny female is really quite pretty herself.
I know the rooftop camping is for safety not fun, but it *does* look quite fun!
How brilliant that you are so close to your in-laws that you will actually vacation/work together!- l know we marry our spouse, not their entire clan, but it is the most beautiful thing when you do embrace each other!👌🏻💖
Thank 💐 You for taking us along for this visually stunning journey!😄👏🏻
Travel safely (🦁🐗🐍🐆🐃🐘🦏🦡🦛🕷️🦂 will likely be much more painful than covid😉). "Happy Trails to you!!" 🌍🍀🕊️🐾🌈🇨🇦
Thank you! The red birds were carmine bee-eaters. And the purple flowers are jacaranda trees - an invasive species but very pretty...
Haha love the way the lions licked their lips looking at you! love your adventures! Happy New Year Kirsten, James & inlaws! Blessings xxx
Thank you so much this makes me so happy finally having you guys back !!!
I missed seeing you ❤️
Lovely! Thank you for posting
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome Video !
Happy New Year to all
Cool
I just wonder did we let down our tyres on dirt roads in the old days? (Kudu, Leopard,Puma). Great episode...never made it there....just spend nearly 4 yrs in East and Center Mashonaland (Mudzi, Mtoko,Mt Darwin)
I was hoping you would come back to youtube. welcome ser.
After so many delays it's so nice to see the first in the series. Have to say when flying I like to sit where I can see the wings, something so cool about the way they flex, I understand that some might find it disturbing but after doing some engineering and seeing how they do a destructive test on a wing it's quite reassuring how they move. Glad there were some lifer birds too.
Thanks so much for watching. Always good to get some lifers especially with a bird mad father in-law
Wonderful work as always...😎👏❤
Thank you so much 😀
James…I enjoy your musical/performance videos but your exposition videos are way more enjoyable to me. Me…one simple guy who comments on YT videos. Thank you for this.
Hello James, Thank you for the incredible videos - the buffalo at the dusty waterhole was awesome! What camera are you using - I can see it's a Sony however the model escapes me
Thank James and Kirsten and parents! Amazing photography and narration.
I like how you say 'Harare' 👌🏾
Just joined looks interesting...... I'm from Rhodesia..... Zim
Thanks James, Kirsten and family and the very best New Year to you
Same to you!
