I’m sorry but this fight was simple. We all saw how Kai literally destroyed everyone in Alaric and Joe’s wedding. How he basically puts Elena in a sleep and kills the entire Gemini coven. Hope hasn’t unlocked her vampire side so I expected way more from Kai

Hope is a tribrid, a first born Mikaelson witch, and one of the most powerful beings. She's so powerful that even the hollow wanted to posses her.
I mean, he's a vampire while she isn't yet, so he is automatically physically stronger/faster than her. Her magic should technically be stronger than anyone she could fight _except_ for Kai, since he can syphon magic. So I don't really see how he lost here. I don't think he was fighting seriously. She would destroy him if she became a vampire and got her hybrid abilities.
Honey Badger but then I’m the vampire diaries when Tyler bit Kai, Kai literally siphoned it. So if Hope was to bite Kai, he would do the same. Only way for hope to win is with magic or just physical

Is there really anyone who doubts that Hope is stronger than Kai? Guys, seriously, Hope is a TRIBRID, she is a firstborn Mikaelson Witch. The power that she has within Kai cannot even imagine it. Kai is powerful, but Hope is TOO powerful for anyone. Even if he fought seriously, she could have torn his heart from his chest with telekinesis, dried him, put him to sleep, break his neck, immobilized him and then hit him with a piece of wood in his heart. Guys, really, Kai is strong, we still love him, but there is no way for him to win in a battle against Hope. Deal with it.

But, I was just reading many comments under this video, and getting shocked realizing that there are many people who say that Kai could easily kill her, that he is much stronger than her and that the only reason he lost was that he wasn’t fighting seriously. I don't understand how it is even possible that someone thinks that Kai can beat Hope, and EASILY, by the way. Guys, seriously, you really have to relate to The Originals and Freya which says how powerful Hope is even without the energy of the Hollow inside of her. If Kai had fought '' seriously '' it would have been a much greater fight for sure, yes, but no way, he would have lost anyway. And it’s not about being fan of her or him, because I’m a fan of both the characters, it’s just facts.

Plus, if she used ALL her magic, it would probably destroy the whole school and everyone in it. Remember how powerful Freya was? She was able to take down a OP vampire like Lucien, can you imagine all that power in a Werewolf? And never forget that Josie or any other Siphoner runs out of magic, she doesn't. And a normal witch cannot use all her magic or will be consumed by it, but Hope has the healing abilities of a Werewolf, so even if she uses too much magic, she continues to heal constantly. This practically gives her an endless supply of magic. Can you imagine when she will also activate her vampire side? Nothing and nobody will be able to stop her, not even human’s weaknesses, which are already less given to her werewolf side. Hope is simply unbeatable. And, again, that’s just facts.
IDGE Series Exactly! There are many ways for Hope to kill Kai without even trying lol if Kai try to siphon all her magic, dies, if he try to siphon her Werewolf side, gets poisoned and... dies. So?? Besides, c’mon guys we should not even being here talking about that! Hope isn’t the most powerful Witch we have EVER seen in TVD/TO universe, but at the Moment she is, and you have to try deal with it even if you like too much Kai or don’t like her.

The hollow even said that she is the strongest witch to have ever walked the earth. The writers dont want to show Hopes full pontential but they cant ignore the facts.

The whole show is like that, tbh, with the tacky cgi dragons and monsters and crap. It definitely feels cheaper and more childish than TVD and TO but most of the cast (especially the three girls) lift it with their performances.

I agree they need to step it up but they cant do the exact cgi from the originals because the magic practiced there was voodoo and ancestral magic which is why it looks different in mystic falls then new orleans. Like in tvd they used expression, traditional and black magic and tapped into there self or other supernatural beings to fuel there magic. The new orleans witches fueled there magic by channeling the ancestors.

this episode was so good
i have no doubts that hope can easily best kai (who is also powerful) being an actual tribrid. their powers don't compare. but when it comes to wits, i think with a lot of struggling, kai can actually tackle her. of course hope is quite possibly the strongest supernatural being, but kai was in actual hell. he made allies of katherine, fooled cade and escaped. hell swallowed itself and kai survived. i don't think even a tribrid stands a chance against hell. kai can't beat her with power, but he can with intellect.
there where so many ways kai could have killed her this is just bullshit🤦♂️ he could have gone invisible and sucked her magic like he did with bonnie🤦♂️ he could have snapped her neck🤦♂️bonnie comes from a powerful bloodline and he had no problem with sucking her Magic then why would he have a problem with sucking the magic of hope🤦♂️and if she is powerful i have no idea how long legacies will last cuz she is so PoWeRfUl... she probably would kill every villain in one episode

Take the barrier spell for example, in TVD & TO, they were just plain invisible and now in Legacies, the added that purple effect thing.

Also, guys, do you want to know why I keep thinking it's all the fault of the plot needs? Think, for example, when Kai tries to approach her using super speed... remember when Kaleb and MG tried to do the same with Alyssa? She made them harmless by slowing them down, what prevented Hope from doing the same with Kai when he was about to go near her, and then maybe kill him with absolutely no hurry? The plot needs. Just as the plot needs prevented her from using a spell that inflicts pain and destroys the blood vessels, a telekinesis spell to tear his heart away from his chest, a spell to desiccate him, a spell to make him fall asleep, a spell to paralyze him and how much 'other. Should I continue?

Pain infliction can be fought of by an other witch like we saw on s6 ep 22 when bonnie tried it and kai resisted. Telekenisis spell would kill him unless he was fast enough to counter. Desication spells require black magic and after what happened to jossie i doupt hope will use it any time soon. Sleeping spell would be good and paralyzing he can siphon it
Ak Ak I think Hope is much stronger than Josie and she could use black magic, as we have already seen, without have any problem. Besides, Kai can’t siphon a paralyzing spell if you remember that he used “Immobilus” on Josie and she didn’t siphon it.

If Kai was serious he would have siphoned all Hope's sides (werewolf, witch, vampire) and after all Kai's cloaking/ilusionary spells were legend.
Kai wasn’t even able to get near her with Super-Speed so I doubt he could siphon all her sides! Besides, I think Hope is costantly holding herself because if she goes all magic she loses control and then who can tell what happens? As you can see, here she’s using the basic magic the school teaches. If she would have used a bit of the spells Freya teached her... well, poor Kai! But I guess the writers don’t wanted to make weak any of these two iconic characters, so they had to find a loophole. Hope is, anyway, too powerful. But it’s not something that needs to be proved, it’s simply facts. She has the magic of a firstborn Mikaelson Witch inside of her, protected and healed by her Werewolf side, so - what a Siphoner that takes magic from his vampire side and doesn’t even have real magic can do? 🤔 Kai is powerful, but not a match for Hope. 🧐

I believe Hope can beat Kai. I also think that Kai wasn't trying to beat her because he didn't want to risk activating her vamp side by killing her because than she'll become a full tribrid making her unstoppable. The Necanemcer seems to have told Kai all about Hope being a tribrid and told him not to underestimate her. Here his underestimating her while trying not to. He left himself open to an attack by Hope when she caught him off gaurd and chained him to a pole. He was trying not to underestimate her which is why chose not to fight her and maybe accidentally actvate her vamp side.

detective conan Kai is a heretic, meaning he has the powers of a vampire& a witch& if a werewolf bites him he won’t die, because he can siphon the magic out& heal it. He really shouldn’t have been killed so easily here.
He a siphoner, and when siphoners turn they keep their siphon ability cause because it’s not really magic, he uses magic by siphoning the magic from his vampirism. Plus he is a hybrid. The other person said heretic but a heretic is what they call someone that’s in the heretics coven.

After reading these comments all I see is that “hope would win cause kai can’t siphon all her magic cause he would die.” Where In vampire diaries universe has it said a siphoner has limits to what they can siphon ☠️ and even more a vampire/witch hybrid 🤦🏻♂️ y’all just making stuff up now and I watched all the series and paid close attention so I know I’m saying.
It didn't. Siphons were basically as strong as the magic they siphon. Kai has siphoned one of the strongest Bennett witches to exist and he was even able to siphon the magic from the armoury walls at one point but siphons have been retconned to hell because otherwise the twins would be just as powerful as Hope and no way is Plec going to allow anyone to take the shine off her Mary Sue.
It's the same reason why Hope's blood is apparently the only cure for wolf venom even though a siphoner can nullify werewolf venom.
Ikr next season they gone make you believe heretics can't suck a hopes werewolf bite cuz it has too much magic in it🤦♂️ppl making really some bullshit stuff up
