I was just at Middlemore Hospital admitting my Mum. During the triage period I had a lengthy chat with a nurse there and the amount of overworked and stress that all of them are experiencing is alarming. I asked this nurse what was keeping her where she was? Her reply is that it's in the planning to shift over to Australia at some stage. She expressed her frustration in regards to the workload that is heaped on the entire teams and also mentioned that Middlemore is one of the busiest Hospitals in Australasia. With their service reaching as far as Palmerston North. We may be getting new medical staff but we are.losing valuable experienced staff.
Risks. More pay a nicer job is one way to help that. Nicer is less overtime coupled with extra voluntary overtime. .Staff levels are needing to be precise for best effect
Incidentally last night I waited 11 hours for 1whole process because of a busy night with children who have priority and a single doctor for the hospital. They did very well. They just needed reserve labour/ doctor.. Observational notes include the paperwork takes longer than actual seeing a patient.
More money for the pokie machines to try to win money to pay for the food that is to expensive and the rent that landlords wont drop the weekly rent price.
Prices were forecast to come down the 2nd half of this year not because of anything done by National.

Most landlords give it to the banks which goes directly to Blackrock 😂 which dictates what reserve banks should do indirectly, to print and waste and create the inflation in the first place. The game is rigged

Health NZ announced the appointment of four regional directors. The four people have suddenly been found. It shows that government has been plotting in background for a long period.
There is no mention of salary cost of the four new employees.

Reading articles about the current methods of managing staff costs shows what the PM and Finance Minister are either not will to acknowledge they do not have their finger on the pulse or they fail read the news . They have had nearly 8 months to study Health NZ but have been distracted on their attack on repealing laws and raming laws through parliament with good consultation as mentioned by Auckland's mayor.
The nz media hate the thought of nz being a better country and kiwis having a better life😳🤪🤪🤣🤣
So dont they avail of it too they just bark cause of labour poking them to do so😂
To many people here just want to complain. This government is doing a heck of a lot better than the last government and I'm grateful for the good things they are doing.
It depends on what topic you are speaking of.
New Zealand is currently in the middle of a huge infrastructure deficit, tax cuts will lead to less revenue to invest in infrastructure, this government is also borrowing more to afford these tax cuts and they have actually been warned by the OECD to delay tax cuts because borrowing to afford tax cuts will only worsen NZ financial capabilities.
Speaking of infrastructure, most of the transport projects implemented by this government will do little in alleviating congestion or improving productivity, their obsession with roads will only lead to more economic loss.
Their housing policies have been okay but there is still concern with Urban sprawl, especially with their transport policies.
And other stupid Choices like the cancellation of the irex ferry project, withdrawal of alternative transport funding, water infrastructure reforms etc.
This government isn't entirely incompetent but I wouldn't say they are any better than Labour, merely the other side of the same coin.
@@rp7784 the issues you have raised pale in comparison to the amount of debt labour has put us in, they completely screwed us over and national has now has been handed over their financial mess. Nz was in a much better place before labour took over so I personally woudn’t see national and labour as equivalent. I’m just grateful labour didn’t get another term and national can now start to make some sort of progress to getting us out of this mess.
Why did the PM fly in a helicopter to an area Rotorua resently rather than drive? ( must of cost more). The article suggested was to avoid protests.

The increase of Nurses is a play on words. There are now Enrolled Nurses who have just been reestablished and are just coming on line now. Enrolled Nurses are NOT Registered Nurses and have far less training and clinical knowledge. I would like to know how many of these "extra nurses are new grad Enrolled Nurses.
