1:39 you clearly didn't get the joke. The joke was that scientists actually managed to reverse time and did so after they read the Live Science article just so they could rebuttal the claim while at the same time confirming it. That is the true essence of the joke.
Me too, at first, but if you were familiar with physics, the moment you read light and then particle, you are already searching for a wave, and will force your eyes to find it. If you are not familiar with physics, then it's normal you just read light and particle and think the meme is done. If you are familiar with physics and didn't thought about wave after reading that, then your IQ is negative.

The dot is weird the comma is perfectly fine. The same way a dot in a sentence finishes it therefore the command is a better concept because the number continues beyond the comma
I'm from Poland, my math teacher used to correct my decimal dot with a comma, it was crazy for me, cause I taught myself math before with American courses. It was in polish equivalent of the last year in middle school, she said something like: "You are in Poland, so use commas!" I used dots anyway.
When I saw it I quickly realized its 2 words in one (Wave / Particle) before I had the chance to be fooled to see just one word:( . I guess the closest I would guess to see first is WAVE cause its bigger than the font above it and seeable if you hold the phone far away.
J Mac Hey Joe, it doesn’t look like there’s much time for that this semester. Next semester might be a bit better, but time management has been rough with these classes
Andrew Dotson No worries, I’m happy to wait. I’d rather you succeed than teach me something I can potentially learn on my own. I sincerely hope you enjoy your year!
Serious question, what university/school did you go to where you round up!? Seriously my first general chem/general phys were both about significant figures and not rounding up.
On the Particle/Wave one, I saw "Particle" first. I had to really squint to see "Wave". I guess... I guess... I guess it's because... I was performing a double slit experiment with my eyelids. I'll show myself out.
Welp I'm (a year?) late, but comma is used instead of decimal point in some countries (for example here in Finland). It's actually incorrect to use a point here and we could get points reduced because of that. So it's probably international students doing that
i was close to the screen and read particle but farther away it looks more like wave... since the grill is farther it might make sense that she saw wave initially and u saw particle
6:40 Then how come they form a completely different particle when paired up with electrons? It forms positronium, instead of hydrogen, and is much less stable.
I think the comma is more of a "rest of the world" thing. Where I live, a comma is what you use when you break a number, like 1.2. Ten thousand and 2, point five = 10,002.5.
In French we write the decimal place as a comma and now that I just started math and physics in English it’s annoying because I keep writing it as a comma
I am struggling deciding on what I am going to do for my career, i am strong in math and science (not biology) compared to my peers and am very interested in learning and understanding why things are the way they and I like solving complex problems ( my personality type is INTP) but I struggle seeing myself having a job related to physics and am worried about how hard it can be, my peers and family think bc im good at stem related classes in high school I should go into engineering but I haven’t found a type of engineering that I could see myself pursue, is there any advice I could have to help me choose what I should go study in college?
i would suggest taking the classes that interest you, speak with your peers and professors (get close with a professor who gives you advice), and let your intuition speak to you. There's no need to predict the future now as long as you do your work and listen to yourself. All the answers you need are in yourself. "no matter how you cut it, the answer is 25"
19 + 7 = 26. That's what regular people get with a calc.

Physics student(rounds both to the nearest multiple of 5). 19 + 7 = 20 + 5 = 25.
Theoretical physics student. 19 + 7 = 19 = 10
Graduate theoretician. 19 + 7 = const = 1.
