Raised in 1984 the NSG stands for National Security Guards is India's one of the most elite counter-insurgency force equipped with some of world's most advanced weapons and gears, NSG has a special unit known as 'Phantoms' which has selection rate of only 1% which means only 1% of all the trainees make it. NSG ensures national security and is reponsible for security of some VVIPs including Political Leaders whereas role of Phantoms is quite classified.
