2-Day Catskills Escarpment Trail Hike

The boys too a weekend to conquer the Escarpment Trail in the Catskills. Split the 25 miles hike into 2-Days. We took the Southbound route starting in parking area by Cross Road and RT23. We tackled the steep climb up Blackhead Mountain camping at the 13 mile mark just before Dutcher Notch. Day 2 we descended into Dutcher Notch, refilled our water at the Spring and continued past Katterskill Falls Area to the parking lot at Scutt Rd.

Elevation Gain: 5,988ft
Total Time (excluding camping) 16:13
