    This is actually interessting to know. Because the guy who came up with this video idea actually shared the wonder of microgravity. It ain't just "look this is space"

    So what did you end up weighing in the video compared to 6 months ago when you boarded the space station?

    omega = sqrt(a/x) = sqrt(k/m) ----> m=kx/a with omega=frequency, a=fixed acceleration and k=elastic constant. Am I right?

    • @juniorcyans2988
      @juniorcyans2988 9 місяців тому

      In the free fall situation, we can consider a spring-mass system, which has nothing to do with acceleration. omega=2pi*frequency. The tool provides you the two different frequencies, then you can use them to find out your mass because omega=sqrt(k/m) and k is a fixed constant.

    I am practicing for my physics finals and studied with the exam of last year where the BMMD was the focus of the task. Then I wondered if they really do it on the ISS and they do xD

    How is the force applied? Spring? Hydraulic/pneumatic? Electromagnetic? Motor&gear?

    • @fn3200
      @fn3200 3 роки тому +1

      I think spring. omega = sqrt(a/x) = sqrt(k/m) ----> m=kx/a with omega=frequency, a=fixed acceleration and k=elastic constant. Am I right?
