Pink and aqua are my favorite colours!!! This schoolie is perfect except I would paint the outside pink and aqua with flower like the wall in your kitchen.

Beautiful family and bus! The living/kitchen area, with the checkerboard floor and pastels does rrmind me of a 50s diner and I love it! I'm usually not big on pink but love teal, and the balance of colors makes it work well. I wouldn't have any issues living in it. Well thought out design to fit their needs, with room to make adjustments for the new addition to the family. That's the largest solar system I've seen in a bus yet. Well done!

I’m in NEPA and have a spot someone could park for a few days up to a week. We are right off I80 (literally a mile off the interstate but very small town). Anyone coming through, the doors always open to power up, get water, laundry, or just a place to rest!
Their bus would be even better if they got rid of the IKEA table and got some stools and built a high up table along that wall!! I absolutely love this bus and the decorations. The floor and colors remind me of a diner from the 50s. So the stools and high up table would be awesome!! Love love love the bus!!

The front cab is a giant heat sink in summertime. It must get very hot in there. You are legally allowed a 6 inch strip of window shade film on top section. and CA approved lighter film on cab passenger/driver windows. In the house section, add strong anti glare film on every window and it makes a huge difference in summer. Easy to apply too. Buy on Amazon. That is one beautiful stove! But if you added 1-2 Chinese Diesel Heaters instead, you would get the same heat and it would be baby-proof. Also, no carbon monoxide issues. The space would turn into your baby cot area and you would get your bathroom back. Don't sell the stove though. Its worth keeping. You have a lovely home and charming family, love your dogs and baby, so sweet. Sorry you had this horrible encounter with this Savannah woman. There will always be those that feel threatened by anything different. Paint the outside, that does help. Durabak18 paint is excellent and can be roller brushed on - 2 coats - and great protection against chips. Solvent is Xylene. You must use Mohair rollers not any other. Self leveling, fast drying, toughest polyurethane paint that acts like epoxy without being brittle, it is flexible. Paint anything, metal, plastic, wood, concrete, rubber, etc. It might help you to paint some lettering on the bus so it looks like you are there on business - mobile photography studio or film studio. It will make you invisible in plain sight. Maybe a name like Dawn Light Photography Studio or similar. As long as it looks like a work truck no one minds. Don't let it look residential on outside. Don't buy fabrics from Hobby Lobby! Use Fabrics.com online. They have a Roclon Blackout rubber cloth that makes a great liner for curtains. The best cheap vintage sewing machines that do thick cloth is Viking Husquavarna 6030 or any of that model line. Very well built, and under $100 and parts available online. Sew your own fabrics. Do not buy Singer or Brother - the worst. Your fridge is cute but not efficient for power. Try a Danfoss compressor fridge - NovaKool, Isotherm, or Vitrifrigo. Costs more but highly efficient on power.

I've been watching these videos for a few months now, and one of the first things that crossed my mind was where would I put a darkroom/enlarger in the vehicle? first, I realized that the vehicle would have to be a bus, but an 8x10 enlarger would be a monster to install, then I'd need some sort of ventilation because the chemistry stinks, then....blah. blah. blah, you know the rest...but then I slowly came to the conclusion that I wasn't thinking rationally, and that I might have to trash the idea of a darkroom in a bus. Your video, however, has proved to me that it was not as bad an idea as I thought. Thanks. npk
Such a beautiful eclectic build! Love it 🥰 But, with that little one and all those chemicals, you guys really need to invest in child safety locks for the cabinets or get all that stuff off of ground level and put it up high. Cheers
if you do the skylight in the bathroom make the window flat and at level with the solar panels... that way when the window starts getting dirty with leaves debris and what not then you know its also time to brush off that stuff from your solar panels and it also saves you the hassle of constantly checking the top of the bus to see the solar panels and always having to go up and look now all you'll have to do is look up while your showering and bam its a win win!
