Nice video mate. Great bit of flying there too... just remember though like we discussed before, watch that turn inbound on the hold doesn’t get too shallow so you don’t end up flying through the radial. Otherwise you done well and honestly, I’m ready to sign you off.
Otto Pilot you’re saying correct for wind in the hold? Like, add more stuff to an already technical thing? Doesn’t sound right. You are the master of holding though so 🤷🏼♂️
Loved both these last videos, as I usually do. But in these last couple of videos, I can't stop admiring the fact that there are 2 super cool and relaxed pilots showing us how it's done while having an absolute blast at it! Thank you!
Keep pumping these IFR lessons out:) I have my Checkride with Rob Nov 2nd due to his very busy schedule. Taking the written next Friday. I'm so tired of taking practice tests but it makes life so easy when you sit for it.
Exactly the kind of role model I want to be. Diverting your attention from important class work to watch a much more important video. Well done young man!
Sanford is where we bought the Cherokee that I did my PPL and Instrument training in. Leesburg is the airport we fly to in our Lance when we work in Wildwood. Nonstop from KCAK in Ohio I should add lol.
Swear I saw this vid the other day? Or do I now experience premonitions about videos you're gonna upload? I mean, as much as I enjoy your content, that's a fair shit superpower.
Awesome video as always! Just got my 'Welcome to the sky' t-shirt. One question. Shouldn't the circling have been completed at 700 ft? Looks like y'all ended up back at 1000.
@@LewDixAviation Thanks. You remind me a lot of how me and my CFII were during my instrument training. Very relaxed, enjoying every flight. Closer to my checkride I used to ask him what I'm paying him for when he was just sitting there making jokes. 😉
LewDix Aviation the aviation industry will eventually rebound. (It always does) on the meantime enjoy teaching people to fly. I mean you are pretty good at it.
James Russo Beautifully caught.. over 1,000 feet less for 21.. If it’s not in there then I’ve edited it out. I’m not watching it again I do that enough 😂
After my lesson today, my cfi asked if I had any prior experience on the radio because I was doing so well for 8 hours in. Owe it all to you brother.
The brilliant man!
I think I'd listen to this frequency all day long, for some reason...
I don't understand, why?
@@ClayCaviness there's something soothing about it 😊

Loving the banter and how easy you both make it look. Top job!
My flight instructor just got called out to the Air Force and I was getting ready to do my solo... sad day for me...
This is way better than the English class I should be paying attention to rn!

LewDix Aviation Don’t worry... we aced the test😅
loving the new graphics
That ATC's name is Patrick. He taught me a lot about ATC. Mainly he taught me that I was doing it wrong.

Honestly I love your videos. You're a great instructor! What an inspiration!
Thanks Gurl!
@@LewDixAviation what go pros do you use? I'm a CFI myself but don't currently have a flying job due Covid but would love to do what you do one day!
Fly Gurl GoPro Hero 7 black x3... Its fun,, but editing is time consuming.
I bought the VW from there. My Challenger was purchased in Mt Dora 🙄
That makes more sense

Lewdix which flying school do you work for I'm looking for one to join
Hi LewDix, do you also ship your merchandise to the EU?
Henrik Nuijten yep!

Yea in actual you’d stay at 700 but we climbed back up for some extra “contingency” altitude haha
Enjoy the shirt man!!

Zany video idea: you come to St. Louis, MO and film as you train me for my whole instrument rating 🥴
On my way
Instrument is getting intimidating...but then again, I need to get in the air.
Thinking I will re-name my STEC-55 as the "Otto Pilot" since they both fly with the same Precision and hands off...
hahaha
Never knew the Swedish chef was Irish :P
Man times must be hard if you’re flying a high wing. 😂.
Hoosier Pilot more and more these days 😯

I'm a student pilot and iam very confused and I have many questions but no one helps me out, so if anyone finds the time to aid me please do so
2:42... but the runway you actually going to land on isn't 5900 feet...

@@LewDixAviation Just something my CFII taught me when briefing a chart on a circling approach which has stuck with me.
I can't find the Dani videos. They made laugh. :-(
what are those glasses?
