Tackling a new river swim with hemp and casters

I celebrate the huge variety of experiences available in angling, by trying a brand new peg on a stretch of the local river Wey in Surrey. Using a maggot feeder and a bolo float, with hemp and casters as bait, I catch a variety of fish during an unusually warm October afternoon.

Very good video! Lovely bit of river and great dangling!
I sometimes take a pike fly rod set up with me for such occasions that will usually guarantee the pike DONT show up 😂
