    Sir please teach application of Fourier transform :diffusion equation :Flow of heat in an infinite and in a semi infinite medium.
    Wave equation : vibration of an infinite string and of a semi infinite string.

    Do we need to assume that the solution is square integrable? Otherwise the fouriee transform may not exist.
