John Maynard Keynes: “When the facts change, I change my opinion. What do you do, sir?”
I highly recommend the blog lesswrong as a place where you can get a very gentle introduction to bayesian probability. That's Eliezer Yudkowsky's blog, he works for Singularity Institute. I'm always amazed that the SingInst people aren't involved in the law, objectivism, libertarianism, jury rights, free speech, and legal justice.
Yes!
Get this woman a glass of water!!
What Keynes said?! Why cut the video while she is still talking?! I want to know what Keynes said, he was a very important economist! =P
WHAT THE HECK DID KEYNES SAY ABOUT BAYES?!?? Can someone who was there spill the beans?
Lesswrong dotcom for a complete introduction and explanation of bayes. Also, I'm pissed that they cut this video short when she was talking about how bayes related to Keynesian economics. :(
Thanks!
I'll tell Jotto999 below, who also was mad about the cut off =)
Would a really advanced baysean net be an agnostic?
I can't believe this sound comes out from someone's mouth.
Case-based biostatistics brought me here.
