She clearly believes that he does not even respect her enough to call her by her name. I don't think it is prejudice against him because he's Latino. I think she doesn't like being called anything other than her name. I hate it when people call me Angie because that is NOT the name my mother gave me. I get the impression that she believes him to be arrogant as well.
