Explaining how the perfumed ointments were considered a better target than the vases that contained them by tomb robbers, Dr Kamrin also gives a fascinating insight into the importance of food and drink in the burial process.

I was there in Al-Kahira (El Cairo). To be face to face with Tutankhamun golden mask is just impressive.
it could be that the perfume is made from deer blood which is processed in such a way as to become oil. Africa is a habitat for wild deer. the forerunner of the musk perfume
