can someone explain to me why mad maggie isnt being used in this meta? i know drill cant be used on NC ult but on new castle tac and gibby bubble it should go crazy
The comp meta is NC + Gibby + 1 character that can help rotate. Path or catalyst are usually filling the 1 spot because they can both help go to zone with their ult and they both can scan ring console. Fitting Maggie in competitive seems pretty hard, NC is pretty much a must pick, Gibby dome is really helpful when the other 19 teams are also playing Gibby or in case your Newcastle got downed. Yeah, you can fill the remaining 1 with maggie, but you dont have ring scan, and if you need to go to the ring on an open field, youre kinda screwed because you don't have Path's Zip, Cat wall to help you
Think of what your losing by picking her, compared to what everybody else is playing. On paper, she's a decent counter but no rotations available. NC/Gibby are being played on every single team in this lobbies and noone is willing to "sacrifice" Cat or Path on their comps just for a drill, cause that's all she have to offer.
Maggie is good very solid but in this meta especially pros she isnt worth it. Yes the drill is good vs bubble and shield, but for fighting its not good most fights are dome fights. Her ult is useless it cant break dome or wall and in dome use you ult yourself, the team and the enemy so everyone is stunned. If the drill is in there as well you take damage to yourself and you cant afford that in a fight. If the setup is well maggie runs through most things its very fun but in this meta where shield in pros are everywhere its to easy to counter. Other legends will be much more usefull
