Heh, Helen Henny singing the "Star Trek" theme reminds me of when Dexter's mom did so in the Dexter's Laboratory episode "Star Check Unconventional!" Back when this showtape was produced and ran (1987), many of those classic TV shows were being rerun in syndication and the then-recent Nick at Nite on cable.
@🥮Luna Moonlight🥮 Oh yes. Starting around 2002 they began phasing out much of the classic programming and became a place for rerunning 1990s sitcoms, and nowadays the schedule is often made up of nothing but "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" reruns.
The old shows were definitely better but I will watch the new ones at places that have the animatronics because I want to support them cuz I am a big fan and admirer besides a collector I grew up with these guys and they bring back great memories now if there's a place with a dance floor or video screen I'm not going to sit and watch those shows
You are pro if you saw that they tried to make chuck e cheese smile in chuck e cheese mouth They also tried to make Jasper smile by drawing the wrinkles
What a great show! And that is some fantastic programming there I grew up with most of these shows and remember just about all of them that they're singing about that was very fitting for Jasper singing about The Beverly Hillbillies😎🐶

I barely remember Mr Ed on TV because I was a pretty young pup back then I don't know if it was a rerun when I saw it or if it was still on regular Network TV

Same for Helen. It sure inspired Dexter's Mom for the parodic theme song in one of first best 2 Dexter's Lab seasons with creative glory.
To be honest, Helen's version is the best version I've ever heard. I wonder if Nancy Lenehan had a vocal coach for that.

Shows were sooo much better back then, the new show tapes they have at CEC are like 2 minutes long and don’t have as much dialogue.

So true! I couldn’t sit through a new CEC show for more then 30 minutes all they do is sing the same 5 songs. This is way better.
