- On March 3rd a CME struck Earth's magnetic field sparking auroras again also in Southern Finland. Unfortunately I was driving from Central Finland in the evening and the best show was already over when I arrived at my usual spot in Kurjenrahka National Park. It was almost midnight when I started and was able to continue for only about one hour before a thick fog covered the lake Savojärvi.

Thank you, Timo, for this Aurora feast! It's incredible how much you manage to capture just within one hour! I envy tou)
Thanks a lot! ☺️👍
Beautiful as always, thank you. I have the impression that Aurora is less visible this winter.
Thank you! Yes it seems to have been quieter from November onwards, but March started nicely. Now hoping for clear skies around the Spring Equinox...
Now for the great views of Finland
😁👍
