Shoes are never what I style around but you did a good job!! I like the first outfit, I am all about the comfort. But not 100 dollars comfortable, I would have to wear them 24 -7 to be worth that to me. But that is me. You are such a sweet thing. I love watching you work things out. I actually like the shoes and the looks. I agree, definitely a look for fall. I would pair the shoes with a oversized graffiti t-shirt, some high wasted jeans and gold jewelry. The white purse was super cute with the shoes.

I am really thankful you moved forward with sharing this video. I go through a similar process when putting looks together, and they don't always end up perfect and require going at it again on a different day. I will say, that oddly, when I stay on top of purging my closet.... looks come together a bit easier. If I allow too much stuff to accumulate that I don't really love, I get tripped up. Keep the fabulous content coming. So good!

I think you definitely deserve a do over! Go back to the drawing board and consider and consider a few questions:
1. What activity would I be wearing these shoes for?
2. What color schemes am I going for that I have in my wardrobe?
3. Can I think outside the Box with these shoes? For example, maybe you could pair them with a dress???

I'm glad you went ahead with the video, it's actually refreshing to see some else struggle with outfits some times! I also bought some "chunky" sneakers because I saw other people wear them and when I got them I tried to style them and couldn't really make it work, so I returned them even though I thought they were cute. I just knew in my life, they just didn't work :(

Hemmed and hawed. I loved this - trial and error!! I absolutely went for the 2nd look and instantly thought "leopard scarf." Possibly scarf tied around the purse handle? (Then funny that you later sort of had a scarf) What I think I like the most about this video is your honestly in letting us see it. It also attests to the fact of how hard it is to put things together, as if I didn't already know. And no matter what, you have an eye for colors and what to bring out. In the beginning, I thought this was a sneaker haul and especially when you said $100 - but I thought that was for many pairs, not one!!!!! :)

Oh they need to make an NYC crossbody fanny pack purse in LEOpard.
Until then I liked the first look the pants and top. I was wondering about putting your hair up and putting on some large LEOpard earrings. OR a small LEOpard scarf or LEOpard baseball cap?? Just thinking along with you. The black vest wasn't bad. But yeah , needs more LEOpard. 🙂

I liked this video Jen, I think it’s kool to see the process, because I know we all go through moments getting a look together and trying 900 different things to make it feel just the way we envisioned it in our heads. It was so nice to see the process. I have trouble styling outfits and enjoyed watching you go through the motions. I keep trying to style myself in multiple colors and when I add that third color I think it’s too much. When you do it it’s gorgeous! I liked the second look the best but also thought the last one was nice.

Would love to see you take basics (like jeans and a tee) and elevate the outfit on different scales..like for shopping, or dinner, or meeting the teacher.. or elevating a joggers and a tank, or a t-shirt dress for different occasions..anyway, love the channel❤️

Loved this video! Maybe it depends on the shape of your foot but I have 327s and find they cradle my instep much better than other sneakers. Super comfortable...definitely worth the $100 for me.

I’m so glad to know that I am not the only person who goes through this painstaking process! My problem is that I always do it when I don’t have anywhere to go… Because that’s when I have time. Lol and then when I actually AM going somewhere I forget what it is that I had put together 😂🤣

I liked both looks, but didn’t love them. Maybe find a leopard tank or scarf to wear with it? I thought socks might look good with it if you could find the right leopard print/pattern/color, but I think you need something leopard print above the waistline. I am rambling!

I see where you were going with the tone on tone. I feel like it needed a pop of color. I wear leopard as a neutral 🤭 and the hot pink you had on in the beginning wouldve been it!
Naima, I think this is exactly where I went wrong. I also use leopard as a neutral and have probably even said that. But for some reason, I wasn’t in that headspace! It 💯 needed color. I’m also not a big neutral on neutral person which is also where I went wrong (for myself personally). I know many ppl are neutral lovers. I want a do-over! Haha 😂
Love the shoes. I think the issue you had styling was due to the laces. Maybe swap the laces to white so you don’t need to pull in black?

Hey! No extensions and my hair isn’t thick at all (I wish). I do have a lot of fine hair (according to my hair stylist). When it’s straight, u can tell how fine it is but what I do like about wearing it wavy, is it looks much thicker!

I pictured those shoes looking awesome with a denim button up shirt and black leggings or joggers. The shoes were cute but not worth the price in my opinion. New Balance never seem to be as comfortable as they look.

I can't seem to find a great pair of jeans. They never fit in all the right places😞 I have been wearing a lot of leggings. Let me know if there are any affordable jeans for women who are bigger in the stomach. I have been super skinny my whole life up until my second child 14 years ago. I just don't know how to style my fat body🙄
