Gina, I was excited when I saw this was on wrapping paper. I loved that last year. I am always on a tight budget and discovered going to the dollar store and getting gift bags. They have large ones with holographic paper, and cut the panels out and get mats for a minimum of 4 cards. I make cards for cancer patients and this year I made 4000 cards so to find an inexpensive way to jazz up a card is important to me.
It's funny you check out Pinteresr for cards, and I watch UA-cam for card ideas. Who can sleep well with our world being so crazy, right. So I find ways to make others smile.
How very thoughtful of you to make so many cards for cancer patients. My sister and I are cancer survivors and both of us appreciated getting cards from friends as it showed their caring. Know that you are making a big difference in people’s lives as they go through many challenges.
I absolutely love this idea...but I disagree about you not being good at gift wrapping. I love the method you used. I do completely agree that sometimes done is better than perfect. 💜
This was a great idea: using wrapping paper. The Dollar Tree has very affordable gift bags so they could be used as well. I buy holographic & metallic gift bags there since they’re so much more affordable than the card stock versions. I also have a beautiful roll of gold matte embossed wrapping paper: lifetime supply of spiffy gold card stock!
Hi Gina and Tom. Using wrapping paper for cards and tags is ingenious. Why not? Definitely cheaper then designer card stock especially if kids are helping. Thank you for the idea.
Omgosh Gina love this wrapping idea! Love that I can put things in the little pocket. Unfortunately I'm not shopping or wrapping any gifts this yr. Still dealing with two year arm artificial elbow shoulder infection. Bone my humorous crumbled, waiting for mayo appt. Plusses knee gave out went down onto knee,, broke femur (middle of thigh)! Had 4.5 hr surgery 2.5 weeks ago. Because of arm, cant use crutches, so its wheelchair and for three months! Its so frustrating cant get to crafting area. I have one arm to try coloring...? But thanks so much for sharing this great wrapping paper ideas for cards and wrapping. Saved to my cell. Thanks so much Gina!
I love making tags as I can use such a variety of stamps, papers, embellishments, dies, embossing powders, and ribbon and twine to make each unique. That way I get to explore my stash and use stamps that haven’t seen ink before. The process gives me a good look at the stuff I have and opens my eyes to see many possibilities of using my inventory at Christmas and beyond.
When my grandkids were small, I decorated their gifts as I wrapped them into different designs-the best ones were Santa’s workshop, the gingerbread house & the reindeer stables!
This was a great video. I have lots of wrapping paper so I will be trying to make cards and tags. I also like the wrapping so I will be trying that also
So many great ideas Gina🤩. I virly laugh so much when you ripped his foot off 🤣 😂. You made it great again , with a little surgery😄👌. Thanks for your ability to laugh at your self❤
I really enjoyed this video today Gina. Great ideas especially for us who are on a budget especially at this time of year. I also enjoyed your company as well. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING. HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND A GREAT HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS
I caught the replay (again). I absolutely love the way you did the wrapping. I am going to wrap the grandkids gifts that way. I was glad when you added the gray to the oval, I was yelling “it needs to have color, his pompom gets lost”
Love the wrapping idea with the pockets and the penguins are Soo cute I love penguins I also have your addiction to wrapping paper so now I have to go to Target and see if they have it in Australia.🎄🎄❤️❤️
Oh wow.... I normally am fond of gift wrapping, but your fancy folding is brilliant. Thank you so much showing. I love the pockets for the card or tag. Oh and a fun fact..... I have the red/snowflake gift wrapping paper too. And I bought it, here in the Netherlands I do have to say that the wrapping paper with grid lines on the back is genius. I wished we had that here too. Always cutting my papers crooked
I've been putting off wrapping my gifts because I admit it's not my favorite activity. Thank you for inspiring me so much that now I'm excited to do it!
Watching on replay tonight. I was up until 3:30 this morning addressing cards. Tomorrow I need to do another round of making more cards for our local family and friends. I think I will be checking out my tote of wrapping paper. These are so cute!!
Teaching this at my class in card-making tomorrow at our local Senior Center here in Texas! It is almost Christmas, so I used some glitzy paper for Happy New Year cards I send to the people who I didn't get a card to in time! Or they weren't on my Xmas List and they sent me a card! Thanks for making me feel like this is more "Okay" for me [after I bought that paper last year thinking is use it for cards! LOL!].
I just found you. Vickie Boutin mentioned you on one of her videos. I am new at this and in the middle of selling our home so I just look at videos and think of when I can do all of this! So fun watching all of this!
Omg, I have NO wrapping paper..lol, but going to buy now 😳, I wrap them in brown paper ( the ones companies put in boxes they sent that they put the craft supplies in), I fold then and lay them under large heavy objects for a long time to flattening after wrapping the presents, I put stamps on them, my DIY wrapping paper , but now I will buy some, only have pieces from gifts I got myself...I will use those too 😉👍
Super cute tag and card:) congratulations DIANNE and congratulations Dawn:) I need to but some of that paper after Christmas:) I’m like you I have so much wrapping paper but I love it:) tfs God Bless:)
I've used spray mount/spray adhesive to stick it to printer paper. The two papers combined makes a decent weight and will go through a die cut machine with no issues. But how on earth are you managing to move them around like that without crumpling it? Am in awe 😆
I ent to buy ornaments for next year and ended up buying tons of wrapping paper. I almost bought the tree wrapping paper thinking they were green, but realized they were black. I did buy the red with white snowflakes. It is a sickness, ha ha
Get Tom to serenade you to sleep and yes I do the looking at Pinterest etc like you but also up all night watching lives from you and others in different parts of the world as your day is our night just late but that doesn't stop me haha 🎄❤️😁🤣
where do I find that embellishment grabber (for lack of a better word) and tape glue? These are great ideas for everyday gifting! Love the pocket idea, so different.
If you foil the black ones, the background will foil. If you foil the white ones, the words will foil. You get both kinds in the pack. Anywhere the black is will become foiled.
Sorry Gina i love to watch your videos but the guitar is sooooo annoying. The fading in and out of guitar music doesn’t go with the crafting video at all and isn’t pleasant to listen too. It’s far better when i can hear your talking instead of fighting to hear you with the fading in and out of the guitar. Sorry

I LOVE wrapping paper! I always have non-wrapping plans for it, but rarely follow through.
Fabulous ideas. Thanks Gina.
I like your reasoning DONE is better then PERFECT!
I like your wrapping:) I’ll have to try that technique. It’s much more fancy than my boring wrap!
What a great use for wrapping paper! (Plus, I have never seen a package wrapped this way... Love it) Thank you for this video.
Watching replay! Absolutely love this!

It was fun to watch you tonight! Have you ever bought wrapping paper in Marshall’s or Home Goods? It is nice and thick.
I haven't but now that you mention it, it's on my list to check out!

Hello G and T.
When you foil the sentiments does the text or background foil?

Hi!
What is the name of the container that you used to store some sequences? It was something like little containers in one big one.
It's this one: amzn.to/3yE2kTv
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV thank you so much.
Wow I didn’t think you had enough wrapingpaper. I haven’t bought wraping paper after I heard it’s not Good for the enviroment.
I haven't heard that paper is dangerous to the environment.
why do you play music over Gina talking, it is so distracting.
Seems like you have not wrapped many gifts in your life 😂🤣😂...
Haha, well, this one was perfectly square and was less of a challenge. I tried wrapping a ball once. That was a diaster!
