- I colored a few panels from the Twilight Princess & Majoras Mask Manga made by Akira Himekawa.
I do not own the Manga or music. I am just a fan who loves the Zelda franchise, coloring & editing.
Hope you can enjoy the Hero's tragic memories.
The Music is Song of Healing made by the wonderful Hylian Choir Chamber.
I highly recommend you to check it out if you are into Choir like me. :)
The one thing that bothered me in the manga was that The Heroes Shade has both of its eyes. In the game he only has one, he isn't supposed to have a right eye. Also nice job with the coloring! very beautiful.
In the wii u cover art for the game he also has 2 eyes... its weird why they would overlook such a detail...
It's interesting how short the time between heroes is in the manga. Less than 100 years, that's one-MAYBE three intervening generations. Probably just two at most, making Hero's shade a Great Grandpa at most to this Link.
I thought this was the case (I still kinda do, sorta) but recently I kinda noticed something I never did before and it’s that when you go to the old temple of time in twilight Princess where the master sword lies you can see that it is in complete RUINS. suuuuper overgrown with flora that it’s kinda hard sometimes to even notice the structures. So honestly for it to get THAT bad within only 100 years or at least 2 generations seems a liiiittle unrealistic, just a little. I’d say about 3-4 generations had past from the hero’s shade’s death to the birth of tp link. This is just speculation
@@Queenskii004 I mean specifically in the Manga timeline
In the manga he says they're not blood related
@@GreatGonzalezI'm on board with that. The Zeldas have to descend from one another but definitely not the Links. Link's spirit just needs to reincarnate into a new hero every time
@@stavrosbegetis2173 but thats supposed to be one of the things that makes tp link unique from some of the other links
Yeah he lost his eye from the power of the sheikah lens but you can't blame the writers for not looking up every Zelda theory lol
Wait really? That's how?
@@antieyesamurai6520 Nah it’s just pure speculation, nothing in the game or outside of it indicates anything about how he lost his eye.
It’s probably just a design choice to make him look cooler and there isn’t actually any backstory as to why he lost his eye
@@confucheese Maybe a violent conflict so he lost his right eye, but still had his left eye. A dude w/ the left eye that still worked after his right eye was lost, like Date Masamune. We see some fan-made art w/ Link's scar and his right eye forced shut by the scar so he'd never use his right eye again. Then he died in his later years after that incident.
Maybe he just pissed off the wrong Cuccoo. Poor guy really met with a terrible fate didn't he
They also messed up the fact that he isn’t a skeleton/stalfos thing. His in game model fades in and out like a ghostly spectre
This edit is sick asf
Hero's Shade rlly went through a lot
When the hero's shade has 2 eyes.
Not in the Game. But in the Manga he has both eyes.
@@vitalightningbolt5252 i love this awesome
I wonder how abt how he lost his eye. There’s not much of anything to go off of, but I’ve seen some really cool fan design concepts of an older Hero of Time that incorporate it along with the armor.
I believe the reason for the missing eye in the game is the shade is a Revent a sort of spirit that won’t stop until it’s duty or desire is done.
Didn't Ocelot shot it off at the torture room?
Time: OH Hi

love this
The hero of time has been through shit
Funny thing, I just finished rereading the manga for a second time last night.
Got nostalgic?
I guess so... Really hoping a Switch remake of the game comes out soon; it's still my favourite one in the franchise~
@@Volcanoran3 i want a remake of OOT and MM, like i know we have the 3ds remakes but i want to see what they could look like on switch and then once big N comes out with switch 2 get WW and TP on there.
@@LightRaven96 I can't say I expect an OoT or MM remake anytime soon since, like you mentioned, the 3DS ones came out 'relatively' recently - plus both games were released on the N64 collection too.
But, I guess regarding WW and TP, only time will tell.
Yep
That's all Zelda's fault, Let me give an example of three of her biggest mistakes, first because she feels guilty for the first two and all the trouble resulting from them, she sends Link back in time to right before they met... and dooms the boy to wander unfulfilled in a world where nobody knows him. Every single relationship he'd built after leaving the Kokiri Forest? Ret-Gone. His relationship with the Kokiri? Doomed to fade. This leads the Hero of Time's spirit to remain as the Hero's Shade, and second removing the Hero of Time from her own timeline proved to be a colossal mistake, since anybody who's seen the intro to The Wind Waker knows that there's no Hero of Time to stop Ganondorf when he came back, leading to Hyrule being destroyed. and third in Twilight Princess; because Link somehow kept his Triforce of Courage when he was sent back in time, the Triforce got split anyway, allowing Ganondorf to gain the Triforce of Power, survive execution and start the plot of Twilight Princess.
( for true immersion [mute this video's audio and replace it with the song provided for best results, kudos to the few of you loyal Agarest fans out there] and the very song said llines are carved from: /watch?v=2xojThxHDio )
*It is a story long since forgotten...*
*Lost now to the mists of legend.*
Bro thinks he's skull knight. Joking aside, I do believe zelda was influenced by berserk
They are both so similar and so cool
He fought a Demon king once.
And a trickster god.
@@barghest94 Majora wasn't trickster, he was mad and maleficent
@@gascougascounizat8961 He most definitely was a trickster, that is how the game describes him... I finished MM again last week.
@@barghest94 I think more the mischievousness of Majora was led by Skull Kid. Majora's Mask let him act by leading a bit a time. We saw it: Majora is cold and his action during the 2nd part of the Battle in the Moon must be kind of madness when he acts hothead and childlike.
@@gascougascounizat8961 You didn't get what I meant, he is _literally_ called a 'Trickster god' by the Happy Mask Salesman, that exact combination of words _was_ used.
Does anyone have a link to the comic?
I don't know if it's uploaded anywhere but I bought the whole collection off Amazon. You might find it there.
There are 11 volumes.
a "link" huh?

I still don't believe he is Time.
Why not
@@Queenskii004 Was that a question? If so. Seeing him like this gives me a feeling of sadness, since we played with the Time in previous games, seeing him in this situation is very sad.
@@kowakoshita9734 That is truly the hero of time.
@@kowakoshita9734I mean it makes sense that the Hero of Time can't die out like regular people & lives in the Earth for eternity unable to fully die out & move out like normal people do.
It is play tlp
