This video was filmed and edited before Fedya's death. I just added a few minutes today. I cried while editing this video. I'm crying now. Who would have thought that day that I would start making a funny video about kitchen cabinets, and accidentally shoot such a horrible ending. Fedya didn't die that night. He didn't die until the morning. But even then I knew it was the end. I called all my friends, acquaintances and doctors all night. But the vets refused to come because of the curfew and said that according to the description Fedya had a few hours left. I sat with him all night and early in the morning, when the curfew ended, we went to the vet. He was dead. My dear Friend Fedya, I will never forget you. Thank you for everything.

Vita,I am so deeply sorry hearing about the loss of your beloved Fedya ( and of course your beloved husband as well obviously as I am truly very sorry for both of your losses).I see and feel from you speaking to and communicating with Fedya how much you love him.He will forever be in your heart.Something that hit me when I saw you crying in your kitchen in this video is that you loved, cared for and shared Fedya with your family meaning with your husband obviously but I can imagine that losing Fedya was probably like losing yet another piece of living history in your life that you shared with your husband which i'd imagine makes his loss even that much deeper for you.I just wanted to hug you and comfort you seeing the depth of your sorrow in the end of this video and having lost pets, the most recent on March,15'th,2022,I know being such a huge and deep animal/pet lover that the depth of the feeling of loss cuts right to our very soul as they are true gifts from God above as they bring such pure unconditional love light and joy into our lives that when we lose them a piece of our very soul is ripped from us!!Even though we would not trade away one single day we shared with them during their seemingly short time with us.You are an amazing strong woman and don't let all of those cabinet, mouse catching, water connection, block stacking, outdoor shower constructing projects scare you as you are very strong and you can handle all of this and more but maybe do ask for some help securing the cabinets in your kitchen if you haven't already so as not to get injured there but everything else is a breeze and you WILL FIGURE IT ALL OUT AND BE FINE BECAUSE YOU ARE STRONG !!! Your husband is/was ( I hated to even say that so forgive me as I mean no disrespect ) a very lucky man as you are a strong, beautiful, funny ( yes you make me laugh not at you but with you LOL 😂😜 ) amazing woman and i'll bet your a realy cool Mom to your boys. Listen take all of this a day at a time, give yourself permission to cry and feel sad and depressed when you need to, take time to yourself to just do nothing and to sit and remember the good times and the laughter and love that you shared with your husband and mot of all be good to yourself and your boys. JUST STOP.............AND TAKE THEM SWIMMING TODAY OR TOMORROW BUT JUS DO IT and let nothing get in the way of you 3 going to enjoy a warm day at the lake together and remember their Dad as you talk to them and share the day together. You are much more than ordinary and you are a beautiful soul.Much love and joy, your new long distance friend in Illinois , Kevin 😎

Hey Vita. The pool looks great, and congratulations on your work getting rid of the weeds in your garden. It's too bad to hear that your summer was suddenly shortened, however, I can understand the schools wanting to start a month earlier given what I'm hearing about how if conditions do not change drastically ukrainians could be reduced to only 2 hours of electricity per day in the coming winter. The end of your video is hard to watch. Hugs to you, Vita.

So sorry about Fedya. I trust Fedya was very loved and knew it. That is important. Not to be insensitive but for the leaking pipe connection, you need to use teflon tape. You wrap it around the threading before screwing on the hose and it create a much better seal, very easily. Your garden is beautiful. You've done an amazing job. For the cabinets, it really would be best to get someone to help lift them. You could get hurt, if not careful. I wish I could help. Again, so sorry about Fedya.

  • @WilliamCooper-l6f

An easy way to lift your cabinets up, is to have blocks, with a car jack on them, and a 2" X 4" between the jack and cabinets, that are long enough to go across all 4 of the drooping cabinets.
Finding wall studs is paramount to successfully anchoring the cabinets back in place and connected to the wall. To find studs, simply by tapping the wall with a hammer and tap across the wall until it goes from a hollow sound to a solid thud. You can drive a nail in, to verify you've hit wood and not air.
Once the stud is located, use a drill with a small sized bit to puncture the cabinet backing plate at every place you intend to drill a screw, then use either a metal washer that barely has a hole big enough for the screw threads to slip through or use a piece of pre drilled thin wood sheet to make a washer out of it. This will keep the screws from pulling through the back plate.
Also, while you are at the lumber yard, get yourself a section/piece of 3/4" or 1" round stock. It will look similar to a martial arts fighting pole. You will measure from the base of these cabinets to the top of the counter top and cut the round stock to fit between the two. This will serve as a wooden pillar to provide additional support to the cabinets, so the cabinets don't have to rely on the screws to sustain its weight.
The round stock will be plain wood, so you may want to stain them before inserting them. You can use 2" X 4"s as support pillars for this as well, but they will not look as nice as the round stock.
Reach out to your neighbors or family to get help with this project.
The leaking faucet needs to be turned off clockwise. It appears the shaft is squared, so using a crescent wrench will do the job properly. Just adjust the wrench down to fit perfectly the handle stem and turn clockwise. Once the water is off, you can use a pair of channel locks around the yellow hose's black threaded connector and tighten it down, so that it doesn't leak. Turn the water back on and if it still leaks, it will need to be replaced.
    Hope this helps. 🤗
If the walls are brick or cement blocks, you will need masonry screws and probably with thread locks, which means you will need to get the appropriate drill bit size for the locks to countersink into the wall or use 2 1/2" long masonry screws.

    • @rogerjackson484
      @rogerjackson484 5 місяців тому +2

This is a good idea of using blocks and a scissor jack to raise the cabinets. Most older apartments and homes there use brick and mortar so more than likely she will have to get some self drilling cement/mortar screws to reattach the cabinets, IMO

Think about your children and the wonderful work you have completed. Vita with plumbing issues the problems are with the water seals inside. You will need to buy pipe wrenches. Thanks! Vita thanks for all you do bringing your message to the world with your videos. I’m sorry about your kitty, the loss of an animal hurts as we can be very attached to them. You have done an incredibly job with your garden and your luxury resort 😉 It looks absolutely beautiful and you done it all on your own. I did want to tell you I am concerned with your outdoor shower system as the white blocks you used to put the water tank on are not level and I worry if the blocks failed the water tank could fall on you and cause a serious injury, I would recommend you dismantle it and compact the ground that the blocks sit on, you could do this compacting using one of the white blocks, then stack the blocks evenly and level. Please take of yourself and your children. My heart breaks for your situation in Ukraine but you show incredible strength and in the end you and your children will be okay because of this
Cheers to you and all of Ukraine,

Vita I’m so very sorry your Fedya passed away. Our 20 year old kitty had a stroke about a year and a half ago. We were home and heard it happen. It was awful and heartbreaking. I will never forget her distressed meow. We rushed her to the vet to help her help pass with as much ease as we could. I’m so very sorry you were alone and the circumstances were so difficult because of the curfew. You are an amazing woman. I hope someday you will be able to be amazing in ways that don’t test your strength and will every day.

Although Fedya was 12 years old that was unexpected. But I’m lucky my kids were not at home that night. I don’t want them to have one more psychological trauma.
Thank you for your support ♥️♥️♥️

Yesterday I talked to you about lifting up the kitchen cabinets. They don’t have to go back up the wall. They only have to take the pressure off the fastenings so that you can undo the kitchen carcasses from one another. Take the doors off before you start this also cut down the weight. this job would be much easier if you have another person working with you best of luck victory to Ukraine

I am so sorry for this sad and shocking loss of your dear Fedya. 😥 😿 I am a cat person too and know the pain of losing them, they are our friends, companions and family. I hope in time you will just have the good memories of Fedya, who through your videos we all loved too. Such a character. That night must have been so difficult for you but always know and remember what a good life you gave to that beautiful metropolitan cat of yours and the strength you gave each other through life's challenges. Before I reached that sad end part of your video I was preparing to comment that you should be proud of yourself for your achievements in the village but you should also feel that way for the times you shared with Fedya and the life you gave him for so many years and your companionship with him right to the end. My sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies ❤😿🙏 you are in my thoughts.

Great Lady, I am so sorry for your loss. You have every right to be proud of yourself. You have given much joy to so many. If I may advise to help with the mice holes, try plugging them with steel wool. The type used to clean pots and pans. Mice cannot chew through and it is fairly affordable . Prayers from Texas. Please Vita... To repair your kitchen cabinets... first remove the cabinet doors and do not allow animals or children near while you work. The cabinets are not only attached to the wall, but also to each other. Turn off the power to the kitchen hood... Be very careful and ask for help from someone to hold and secure the cabinets as you work....❤

I was hoping you would post a new video soon and today I see it here. If I were your neighbor, I would help you with all your work. Here's a little tip: when you are using the drill to repair the cabinet, don't go so fast at first. After the screw is into the wood a little, you can go a little faster. You touched my heart today and made me cry a little. I know your life is very stressful and you are a strong woman. But sometimes it helps to release the stress if you have a good cry and let it out. I am not ashamed to cry. A man who doesn't cry doesn't really care much. I care about you. And I am ashamed of my country for being so slow to deliver help. This war could be over much more quickly and so many lives could be spared if we would just do the right thing. I hope Ukraine can forgive us.
Stay strong, Vita, and safe. no negotiation, never give up, only victory. Slava Ukraini! 💙💛🙏

    Hi Vita & Richie,
My condolences to you about the death of your cat Fedya.❤❤❤
Here is very hot, 27 C. with thousands of billions of mosquitoes. They will eat you alive in the evening.
MIce all disappeared at my house. The reason is there’s a feral (wild) cat living underneath my house.

Привіт, Віта. My condolences again for the loss of Федя 😢. Read your post about this a couple of days ago... He was a very special cat, even from far away I loved him, I will miss him.
Hope that now your vacation is starting, you'll find time to rest more, even if it's going to last one month instead of two.
As for your kitchen cupboards, I guess you understand that it's impossible to fix them yourself. You do need specialised technicians to uninstall and reinstall them. Maybe those two people from Epicenter who helped you learn and operate the tools to assemble drones can recommend such technicians.
