No game ever advances without updates, id rather have constant updates vs no updates or updates very seldom, cheers to scs for working hard to constantly make the game better...
The performance of 1.49 is incredible. I have turned all of my graphics up to the max and getting 60fps with zero stuttering. No flickering or jagged lines of the power lines and underpasses. It looks amazing.
I love 1.49, using since the open beta. Finally, don't need HDR Skyboxes mod anymore... Weather is superb, just today I ran into a fog fall, and it was scary - can't see anything, only a few meters ahead. Night sky is beautiful, full of stars, even the constellations are recognizable. Lightning in the storm are crazy, when you see from the distance. Awesome update!
About the used trucks: in my opinion, not worth it. Repair/restoration costs more than a brand new truck. But can buy Volvo VNL 2014, which is not in the dealers.
I'm excited for 1.49 however I always hate dealing with the bugs and broken mods every new update lol

Had 3 thanksgivings was awesome! Appreciate the episode mike! Day went well just stuffed and tired as a dog. Come on back; Breaker breaker 2023.
(Honestly)With how great this game apparently is I personally don't like how a lot of players leave all the roads in this game perfectly smooth like glass(in the settings). There's literally is no bumps, dips, uneven pavement, crown in the road or even when you go over a bridge going over expansion joints no bump, jolt or thump from the cabin. I may be pushing it but when you play snow runner(I know a different game style)the physics for suspension and effects from the ground is crazy. These trucks in ATS along with the truck suspension have air seats along with the cab on air bags and you see none of that in use because of how unrealistically -flat- the roads are ....(I'm just saying 🤷🏿♂️)

@Modded ATS I use my Jake and it brings me to a stop really fast what do you have your normal brakes set at? I also have my Jake turned all the way down so that is not the issue. I have been truck games since 18 Wheels of Steel games so long ass time LOL

What physics mod do you use or what are your physics settings to get the truck to kind of twist when you take off from a stop and through the lower gears???
There’s a setting under gameplay called driveshaft torque, you can turn that up all the way
Where can I get a gearbox sound like this?
I can't find any engine sound mods. Either the turbo isn't loud enough, can't here the engine or jake brakes sound weird!
Will this ever come to the ps5 ?
Is this game able to be played on a laptop as long as you have the right specs what would be the best laptop to get in order to play if you don't have a setup like an actual steering wheel or pedals or gear shifter can you just play it using a blue tooth controller connected to the pc
I hear your voice more than I hear the truck in this mods I like hearing how the truck sounds not your mouth talking I'm not insulting you I'm just saying you are putting out something let us hear how it sounds and see how it performs

What type of truck physics do you use? I am very curious.
In-Game and Serial Black Modding Physics. But the actually torque of the truck, is in-game settings.
jazzy cats and traffic maniac mods no longer work in 1.49 and the game crashes when they are installed. Im not a fan of the update. I had to start all over !!!
