I love Soothe - think I have a number of plugins that can do this - sounds like a frequency specific expander - which fabfilter can do. Looks like you guys are very giggly - sure you were just reviewing spiff 😅?

Everyone raves about this but I just cannot get on with it. Maybe it could be useful on something that has been horrifically recorded but using it on something decent just makes it worse. For me you would get far more joy off recording something correctly in the first place.
I think that’s true….applies to most of these ‘problem fixing’ plugins 👍
@@StudioLife101 Every time I use it, it sounds crunchy and overly compressed. Don't like it at all. Gulfoss is the same.
I gotta ask. How come you dudes have two of the same mic but the chap on the right always sounds like he's talking through a tiny box? 😆 Although I appreciate the irony given the content.
😂 He’s just never quite as close as he should be to the mic… trying new mics for the upcoming shows…maybe it’ll help. Ironically…he’s way louder in the room …😂
