Seen these all over the channels. It is nice to see the different stitches and techniques everyone uses. Never did a 2DC tog. Very pretty. Glad to see you used it in a 3 weight because most are doing it in heavier weights. Your filming is superb. I can actually see everything!!!
@@debbieholmes8926 so debbie I used a 6.5 hook cause I have tendency to crochet stiff,so I froog a lot of my prodjects over and over hang in there you can do it.
I work for a Non-profit organization that works to save children. For Christmas I want to make ear warmers for everyone in my division. I l9ve the look of this pattern. I will use it to make several. Hopefully I will be able to complete them all by November. Thanks Crystal. You make things easier.
Another great tutorial. I'm not used to working in the back bump and I found it a bit tight with my I/9 5.50mm hook so I made my chain using a J/10 6.00mm hook. That made it so much easier to get the 5.50mm hook through the back bumps. Hope this helps anyone else who finds the back bump a bit tight.
I did the chain with 6mm and then the rest with 5.5mm and it still just keeps being too big and curving into a semi circle. I’m on attempt 3, but determined because it’s so pretty
Hello! Nice headband. Another item added to my list. I definitely need to start playing lotto so I can buy yarn to make all your fantastic items. You're the best. Thank you for all you do for your yarny peeps. ❤ Also I'm almost finished with the tree of life scarf. This is the first time that I didn't have to keep going back to the tutorial. I remembered it. I'm so proud of myself. I didn't think I could ever do that. Thank you so much for helping me build my confidence.
Seen many of these all over UA-cam; however, this one is one of the few I really like. I like the twist headband in general, but many of them are plain, yours, among a few others use different or a variety of stitches, which makes them stand out. I don't wear hats because I don't like what they do to my hair; however, I make these, twist headband a little wider and use them instead, and yours will definitely be making it in my collection. Thank you for another incredible tutorial.
Thanks so much for this pattern. I have lots of lighter weight yarn. And lose interest in projects if they are too big or complicated. This is great for gift giving! Also, thank you for getting close up with the camera. I need a close clear view of exactly where the hook is placed sometimes. 💜🧶
Hello Crystal! I love this headband. I have never made one but can see it on my hook in the future. I think I need to put all your projects in a bowl and reach in to figure out my next one. There are so many amazing tutorials from you I want to do. Thank you for being the great person that you be are my
I love your videos -- they're easy to follow along, and the bigger projects have bookmarks for easy reference! I also like that you show how to do a stich a few times, but don't go overboard like so many I've seen. It's refreshing to find someone who believes we can do it, and I've learned SO much from your videos, including how to keep my side edges nice and neat and straight by only chaining one before turning my work.
Loving this headband. The lighter weight will be great for when the summer hits. Needing lots of colors. Will be great for letting the bangs grow out! 💕💕💕
Thank you for this , Crystal….you make the twist look so easy. I have done several other twist headbands and could never get it right. This one I think I can do!🧶🥰
Good morning Crystal, this is a great variation I agree with Chris Wippler these are all over UA-cam but this is a great variation. You commented that the foundation single crochet could be done however you didn’t like it. I have tried for years to master the foundation single crochet half double crochet and double crochet, I have finally done so watching a video tutorial from TL yarn crafts. She gives a short video on all three stitches. Her video makes it easy to understand exactly how to do the foundation Chainless SC, DC and HDC. Just a thought the stitches also take a little practice to master it but I’ve tried for 20 years to learn this this lady teaches it very well just in case anybody wants it for their convenience. I love all of your videos have crocheted a lot from your tutorials but I do like starting them with the Chainless foundation single crochets
I'm loving this stitch! I love the pattern it leaves. Thank you I also have searched for the perfect earwarmer. That yarn looks so soft. Beautiful color
I have seen so many different tutorials of headbands, and I'd say yours is the easiest to follow. Will definitely make this one. Thank you for sharing your tutorials. ❤❤
Hi Crystal! I agree with you .. working in the beginning chain is always the hardest part of a project! I love this headband! Thank you for the great tutorial! Keep smiling! 😊💖
I just made one similar today. Have to try this one too. I love making smaller projects that are quick to finish. Thank you for helping with your tutorial.
Yay!! Just finished your headband/warmer Crystal!! I have now learned how to do the Dble.C 2together stitch and how to make the twist!! Thank you so much Crystal!! I learn something new every time I use one of your patterns!! 🙏👏🥰🌹
Thx for this, so easy peasy! 😊👍🏻🧶I like to use the back loop on my starting chain for most of my items for a cleaner edge. I also like using a foundation chain on things that I need to stretch a little more!
You really are the best teacher that I have seen on UA-cam. Your tutorials are easy to follow and you explain your methods thoroughly. I’m eager to make one of these headbands. Thank you Crystal!
Love the stitch you used. Will use that when I make my next one, tomorrow. You'd think it was hard to make one, but it's SO easy! I posted twisted headbands a week ago on FB and already sold five! Was glad to see you here making one. Thanks!
Warm up across America I think this pattern will work really good and it's always handy to have in your patterns anyway thanks Crystal You're really awesome have a beautiful day and a wonderful week. Kay Domalik
Love this for gifts and myself💜 Ty again, Crystal. Will eventually get to this after i finish the tree skirt Lol But 4real. Much love, stay safest. Love your new background💜
Very nice. I folded it bad side up as you suggest any it turned out backwards. I put good side up and it worked. I had made a change to the pattern, so it was easy to distinguish differences.
Great stitch for a headband!! Love doing DC2tog!! Will be making one for my DIL and granddaughter! Thanks so much, Crystal, for another wonderful tutorial!! 💕🤗

I love this stitch. I changed the pattern up a bit. I used worsted weight yarn and worked every other stitch.
You are helping us build our confidence and crochet skills this tutorial is easy just as you said thank you .
My piece doesn't lie flat , I did what you did. I'm frigging it 3 rows. First row arched/bowed. And it just keep bowing.
@@debbieholmes8926 so debbie I used a 6.5 hook cause I have tendency to crochet stiff,so I froog a lot of my prodjects over and over hang in there you can do it.
@@tammycook7549 I ended going smaller on hook size on row 3. But on ch and first row I went up 2 hook sizes. Its comeing out much better. Ty
Quick, easy and beautiful....who could ask for anything better! Thanks, Crystal, for this wonderful tutorial.
Very cute headband and so stinkin' cute on you Crystal! Love it!
Thank you, Crystal! Another great tutorial. You are a magnificent teacher!
Beautiful headband. That’s the kind a project that I can accomplish. Thanks Crystal 👏👏👏
Thanks for making crocheting not just fun but easy! My daughter loves these. Made 5 of them in different colors. YOU ROCK!!!!

Another quality video, easy to follow, no background music or bright coloured painted fingernails. That's why you're THE BEST on UA-cam girl🤘👌💜🇬🇧
Cute, cute, cute! Hope to make soon! I need lots of these in different colors!
Just what I wanted to try. Would love to make one of these for my daughter & myself... TYSM for the tutorials. Have a great day!

Had trouble with that also. Thanks for the tip. Also had trouble with sizing & had to start over but got it right the second time.
I did the chain with 6mm and then the rest with 5.5mm and it still just keeps being too big and curving into a semi circle.
I’m on attempt 3, but determined because it’s so pretty

This is fun. Must try! so it will go on my to-do list. That bit of polyamide in the yarn will help with elasticity. Thanks Crystal.
That looks so cute on you and the yellow really brightens up your face!

Making this one in a dusty rose, color. Love the pattern the yarn took. Peace and happy blessings.

Another mystery solved. Now I know how they get the twists in headbands. Thanks Mrs BOD.❤️🤩
Just finished one. Thank you for the tutorial. It's gotten so cold at night & this will keep my ears warm.
That looks lovely will be having ago at making this when I have finished knitting my jumper thanks Crystal for this tutorial.
This has to be my favorite twisted headband pattern I've seen. Beautiful. Thank you

Started to make this. Thank you for showing me how to do it.
I found using stitch markers to hold the folded pieces together while stitching the ends up helps.
