He quite literally said he wouldn’t play for the Yankees even after death & Yankees fans said he walked it back just because he said he’d play hard for the Yankees if he was traded there , because obviously he would have to (he doesn’t have a no trade clause) the Yankees do not have the package to offer the blue jays for 1 but also he will literally not go to the Yankees in free agency because he has a choice
@ it is true he can be traded to the yanks but I genuinely think about 20 other teams could put together a better package , also it’s not a good move because if vladdy is being honest about not wanting to be a Yankee this will literally be another Soto situation , I genuinely think the Mets will get vladdy whether it be by trade or free agency maybe even the Red Sox
