SHERP expedition to Chernobyl

The first SHERP ATV and ONE LIFE expedition to the Chernobyl exclusion zone was not just a project for our company. These two days opened new horizons and opportunities for society.
The purposes of the expedition were the following:
⚠️ developing a route for; wildlife monitoring;
⚠️ ecological and radiation monitoring;
⚠️ testing SHERP ATV's ability to help eliminate and prevent fires.
The Exclusion Zone is slowly turns into a wildlife reserve of rare species, though it is still a surface radioactive source.
Results of our joint SHERP ATV and ONE LIFE expedition were the following:
🔸 The route was laid.
🔸 The route is safe.
🔸 Studies and measurements carried out by Ecocenter experts on the route confirmed that the radiation background was normal. The route stretches 30 km along the territory of exclusion zone, covering part of the radiation-biosphere reserve in impassable places.
Wildwood, swamps, boggy ground - all this is native environment for SHERP. ATVs confidently overcame all natural obstacles. SHERP has proven to be a reliable assistant for rapid response teams under extreme conditions of natural and man-made emergencies.
SHERP is able to become an essential vehicle for firefighters, when they are off-road and have to carry special equipment on their backs.
It is a brilliant solution for using equipment for fire prevention and fighting operations!
We intend to continue the dialogue with the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management to develop a special solution.
