- We check out the Ngilgi Cave (Yallingup Cave) which is a 5 minute drive from Yallingup or a 10 minute drive from Dunsborough along Caves Road in Western Australia. We venture down into the depths of the cave system to admire the stunning stalactites & stalagmites and other rock formations deep below the surface.
👋
Great post Grant, on my way to Perth next Thursday 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you. 😀. Oh wow, you will be in Perth for Easter then. you must be looking forward too catching up with your friends and family.
Great video, even better as neither of us would be able to actually do the cave trip in person. Far too many steps for either of us, unfortunately! Looks beautiful, as though it has been expertly hand carved by some ancient civilisation. Mother Nature did the job all by herself! Quite stunning, so many different colours and formations a real feast for the eyes.
Here in uk we are still waiting for spring to put in a decent appearance, we’ve had the odd warmer, or rather less cold days but nothing lasting much more than 12 hours! Hopefully Easter will be the start of spring for keeps! I’m desperate to get out into the garden and start the spring tidy up. We seem to have been confined to indoors for months. I think we have cabin fever!
Hope you have a great Easter, take care stay safe❤
Hi Rosemary. The cave was truly amazing. Yes there is an incredible amount of steps.. The guides give everyone a warning about them and let everyone know.. "now is your chance to turn around and go back if you are getting too puffed on the stairs"... if you go down all those stairs.. then you have to come all the way back up the stairs... Would you believe that a long time ago (like in the early 1920's or 30's a famous opera singer performed at the bottom in the "Cathedral" part of the cave complete with a piano.. god knows how that ever happened.. Exploring the cave really does make you step back in aww of Mother Nature and what been created under our feet.. you would never even know there is. cave on the ground surface level.
You are still waiting for spring and we are just hitting autumn.. However we are having really lovely sunny days of 30º on average for the last couple of weeks. And again this week, should be perfect warm sunny day for Good Friday in Perth. I can't begin to think what your winter must do to your garden. and must also be mentally hard when you need to stay inside all day as it's too cold and miserable outside. I am definitely lucky to call Perth home. However we have just had a recent break down in beautiful Albany and surrounds and we did get some rain/drissle down there, which was a shame as it did spoil our fun a little... (not to mention the videos I shot down there will all have overcast skies.. which unfortunately will spoil the next few videos...
Have a wonderful Easter with your family. Take care, and always great to hear from you.
♥️🌏👋😀🐣
Interesting A BIT DEFERENT
OMG Muja, it is so different down inside the cave. Just amazing was may be beneath our feet. Incredible what Mother Nature has created. Just incredible..
