I have been listening to all the jazz all-time greats (Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Bill Evans) over the past 15-20 years and this album is already my favorite one, overall! Please ensure you produce at least one private jazz album every year (like the 1-hour comedy specials that great stand-up comedians force themselves to release every year) irrespective of all your other projects you get pulled into over the course of your sure-to-be-illustrious career. The sheer density of creativity in this album alone dwarfs anything that has come out in the last 15 years, tbh.
