    Such disrespect by the congregation.
Treating this holy occasion like a Pickwick day … so disrespectful as well as very rude.
    To the people walking around.
Please have some respect for God … and do your crazy stuff before or after.
The band was brilliant … but the congregation people …. Yuck. 😮

I was there. Context would help. this was 5 minutes after the meeting so I don't know what you mean. Also the band had a lot of mistakes. To say they were brilliant is an over statement. Plus you are never going to get an army congregation to cheer that loudly. For an army setting that was too bad. Respect for God thing I don't know what you got taught but listening to the band playing a march is nothing to do with respecting God. For me you are wrong in many respects. There are far ruder things than not listening at the end of a meeting than that. At least they got a clap.

As being a Bandsman of the Salvation Army myself, we have a tradition of playing tunes even after the service is over and in the video you can see people walking out from the meeting hall although playing after the service is over is optional and is only if the Bandmaster feels necessary. The Band isn't meant to be played just during the worship meetings. The band isn't confined to a building and is also expected to play anywhere possible and anywhere convenient. In fact these days we don't hear much Bands in the open as we used to do back in the days. We need to revive the Army spirit. We are slowly losing our identity.
