Because the billionaires have politicians in their pockets, and they're not about to support any changes that will see them lose or divert those excessive funds for the 'greater good'. The rest of us get hit with tax and cost of living increases, which if those billionaires put more into their country of residence infrastructures would tamper these to an extent perhaps their communities would breathe a little easier. But no. I have never understood the American political system where, as Bernie said - millions can be directed toward a candidate or party of preference to ensure the billionaires' interests are catered to in policy. Can't understand how that isn't seen as blatant bribery and the Americans tolerate someone in the White House who only got there because he had rich mates, not for what that President promised and proved he had the integrity and resources to do what he promised. I liked him as a comedian. He's even better as an interviewer.
👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Not quite
The problem is that there is absolutely no way, ever, that things will change.
Nope. It's a rort and nothing will change.
Bread and circuses
What has happened to America all those people dying because they can't afford medical bills
The screen-grab question is "how much money do billionaires need?" and I can help you with that answer; Billions!! apparently.
Needs can be satisfied. Greed can't.
This from the guy who has been taken care of by taxpayers his entire life. Bernie Sanders has been on Socialized care since he was a child then as a faild tv host/ musican now piss poor politicans; wherein in only accomplishment he has been something about mailbox. And conviencing ppl that he should be DNC nom for president eventhough he is a registered Independent. For Bernie Sanders to have been nominated by the Democratic party, he would have had to been a registered Democrat.
There's nothing inherently wrong with being wealthy and successful however when you have an excessive amount of wealth to point where you have more money than entire countries that's too much no one person needs that much money to themselves
"The people on top are obsessed with greed" end of chat...
Obama Clinton Pelosi Clyburn told everyone that drop out and back Biden in the primary and Joe Rogan endorsed senator Bernie Sanders but independents not allowed to vote in some democratic states
These greedy people are delusional to believe they are immoral someone’s going to steal everything they’ve stole
And they won’t be able to do anything
✊🤠💜
This I fucking terrifying, and it seems every other "first world" country is goin the same route.
Billionaires don’t want a work force with rights.
So his explanation is the rich get richer. As the poor get poorer???? Any bum on the street can tell you that???
the level of corruption is baffling
Presumably at least a billion dollars.
I always say it I’m 55 now, but I always said you had to go to somewhere else to know about America because they only tell you lies
As a Canadian, he sounds more canuck than yank.
Russel Howard flips Bernie Aanders like a bottle?
Funding a presidential campaign is about lobbying corporate interests funding. End of logic
Wake up the constitution gives us the right to change the government when it no longer serves the people read it
People are weak, though. People suck up to wealthy people as if they will give you a handout. My wife just got a promotion and people who were a bit bitchy with her are now sucking up to her soooo bad.
Stop following and watching these people and start taking wealth back. They won't give it away!!
Only in America is that guy considered a "commie".
to be fair, the only way things will change now is by taking a page out of the French *vomits* History books.
Why can't we, the ordinary people send the unfairly superrich people to the outer space, or to hell? They can invest in their paradise exploration.
and of course not a word on money supply...
What?
@@TubaTones is "where the money comes from" in economics - money supply. It's also basically where anything comes from in the free, open market. It's called "supply". So - that. Get it?
Pass it around! Click thumbs up above, click down here if you’ve no time to jot, and tell all to do the same! Don’t even have time to watch? Run that little red line frome left to right. Share everywhere. Explain it to parents and grandparents.
Sorry, half blund 😜!

Bernie Sanders Net Worth 2023: Approximately 3 Million USD
3 million?????
Only 3 million?
Maybe have a look at the rest of the senate and congress mate.
He’s been in government for a long time on a very high salary. Always fighting for families and workers.
Eat the Billionaires 🥘
Millionaires have a condition called. I’m a greedy b:::::d
So Bernie made $10 million on a book deal and has 3 houses... donate the $10 million to medicine for people who need it so they can live, sell 2 of the 3 houses to help more people. if anyone is upset at me telling Bernie what to do with his money it's like putting the shoe on the other foot. Get it?
Makes you glad you don't live in the USA...
Bernie im tryiing to send you help dolly parton for president sylvester stalone vice president a moral new future history for the united stated
How much more are you going to milk this interview Russell ?🙄
It's actually giving great insight that is very valuable, To understand the ins & outs of how the world works
Absolute scam of a place lol
Agreed and posting the full interview once is effective, no need for the multiple shorts. Just my opinion. 🙃
The Right have views, The Left have facts lol
No problem with billionaires as such. Have a great business idea market it well and earn your profit, why not? Problem is when billionaires put pressure on their workforce to "cut costs" and politics to "cut taxes" because they still want more, even though they already have everything humans can ever own in their life. And that's where society has to fight back: Keep your millions so you can keep enjoying wealth, but invest your billions, so others have a chance to do the same!
Says Bernie with three mansions.
Lighten up Francis...
And? he deserves every bit of what he has
Ragnar on here thinking that houses for 400,000 are “mansions”.
Grow up dude.
Berine Sanders owns 3 homes and is worth millions of dollars....
He is not. He owns a small cabin, a middleclass house and his wife inherited a modest home they use for the family to have a place to stay in need. At this end of his life he has finally been asked to write his outlook in books. He did it and has royalties coming in. And you think that after 60+ years of working to make a difference he should be vilified at 81 for finally making money at something? You are a Troll and your info is so flawed it's clear you can't even read more than a headline.
And? he deserves every bit of that
@@Jerry-cc7rd oh. So white man Bernie deserves it but no one else. Got it
@@Jfromes1 Maybe work on your reading comprehension skills because they are clearly lacking. On top of that, your initial comment is hilarious. You lack understanding of the bigger picture.
@@Jerry-cc7rd The bigger picture is what? Every rich person but bernie is bad?
Bull
He has good points, but Bernie isn’t doing bad financially himself. Us hundredaires and thousandaires are looking at the millionaires as well. His net worth isn’t decreasing.
To be fair to Bernie, he has been working in a well paid job (uncorrupted) well past retirement, and he has written several extremely successful books. Because he is one of the only congresspeople to be uncorrupted, he is one of the poorest members of Congress despite his book success and his long life in politics. I don't have a problem with millionaires particularly. If you happen hit on the right idea at the right time, being a millionaire is possible without hurting other people. Billionaires are a completely different story. It isn't possible to become a billionaire without exploiting hundreds, thousands, potentially millions of people. That is why billionaires should be taxed out of existence - it isn't their money since that money came through exploitation.
So, you can't gain wealth? Yet, still work for the working man?
@@JB-qf5ep Exactly this. Bernie deserves every bit he has. Recently elected politicians who had debt when they were elected are now worth 10s of millions in just a few years. MTG and lauren toadbert come to mind
