the pokémon are becoming more and more dynamic i love this concept
and they also becoming greedier by locking new Pokemon on a paywall on the 1st week of release. Just frustrated because its so dumb.
Polytoad/Poliwrath would be a really cool concept. Choose to evolve into a ranged dps or into a tank/brawler.
@@mr.Ar_K and increasing their average price from 10,000 to 14,000 coins for literally no reason at all. Dodrio shouldn't be 4000 coins more expensive than hoopa that just doesn't make sense
@@krimorant there is a reason. You can thank people for complaining about having too many coins and nothing to spend them on. That's why there's a surge of coin related things in the game. People actually complained they had too many coins. So now we have this.

@@xfatalxflawx Dude, El Chico Eevee leaked that all pokemon starting with dodrio are gem locked for the first week. He called it 3 weeks before dodrio came out. Think about it, you really think dodrio is THAT special to make the only pokemon to have that happen?
I really enjoy that these videos aren't a way to jab at how "weak" the new pokemon feels but a really good deep dive into how the kit works. We have elchico for the leaks and we have Jake for the professional showcase. Love it 💙
I am more on the scizor side because of the "Extra move" and the amount of damage it can output

Scyther: Jungle. Scope Lens, Razor Claw and Float Stone with Ejject Button.
Scisor: Top (Stacks). Attack Weight, Weakness and Focus Band with Xspeed
Would LOVE if somewhere down the line they add a third move for Scyther so we can get Kleavor, too.

@@kakashihatake1029 sure, but from a marketing and advertising standpoint, it doesn’t make sense. It’s so obvious that they need to be releasing Pokémon that crossover recent titles. They done it plenty with gen 8, so I really don’t think that’s the case.
More likely, balancing 2 in 1 will be hard enough- 3 would mean you’re getting different skins of the same guy. And hopefully down the line we’ll get regional variant skins- looking at you A9.
Kleavor as basically a defender/tanky attacker:
Fury Cutter >> Stone Axe - Conical slash outwards with knockback. If hit, enemy pokemon receive residual damage over a period of time (like Splinters in LA)
Quick Attack >> Double Hit - Rather than jump in the direction of the stick, Kleavor picks them up and puts them down where the stick is pointing (like Mamo's Ice Fang)
Quick Attack >> Swords Dance - Works the same.
UNITE >> Same initial deal - dash and create clones. However the clones don't move - they trap any pokemon in the circle for a short period of time. Kleavor can push a pokemon into a clone to have them disappear - the clone then becomes a wide circle of Stone Edge where anybody that walks in gets slowed heavily and takes residual damage.

From Chico Eevee's leaks, Scizor has more hp and defense but less attack. In the pts, its stats were bugged so it kept Scyther's stats after evolving, so Scizor will probably feel weaker and bulkier in the full release unless they already fixed it in the test server
-Also, it can store 2 charges of the technician double basic attacks. Be sure not to use moves when you're at 2 already- never mind, it can only store 1 in the full release

I'm surprised nobody is talking about the fact that a Zoroark is showing up in the gameplay, like where did that come from?
Either way, Scizor is my new main when it releases tonight... or a week from now depending on if it requires Aeos gems for the first week or not.
there was a previous video where he went over that and sableye are the next two pokemon
cause Zoroark has been revealed on Unite official page few days ago and everyone know about it
I saw Sableye as well, I just find it weird since both of them weren't announced by Pokemon Unite, but hey, that's cool
Would be awesome if Scythers Swords Dance instead was another move that evolved it to Kleavor
The point of the evolutions in Legends Arceus was to show that they're extinct/evolved in the classic Darwinian way. Klevor may never exist outside of PLA

everyone seems excited for scizor but after trying scyther it definitely feels more fun and fast paced with heaps of outplay potential.
Scyther to me seems like it will have a higher skill cap than scizor. The more you play scyther, the better it'll seem as a character I think

Scyther reminds me of Kayn from lol, where they both have the versatility to fill a space depending on how the game goes
Both Mon look really cool. I'm looking forward to trying them both, but I'd have to see I'm more interested in playing Scyther.
You can also combo the double hit and dual wingbeat on scyther
By using his 2nd(skill) Then while dashing in the air you instantly use 1st(skill) it combines those moves to make a combo

I think we will play scyther with a set of crits to maximize his chance to get down the ennemy however, for me scyther will be played with a defender set (aeos cookie, buddy barrier, weakness policy) just to stay the maximum of time in the fight.

the dopamine hit from ambushing someone with an assassin character in MOBAs is great, but I'm a smoothbrain so I'm ready to turn my brain off and hit buttons as Scizor.
I love the flexibility difference here. If they want to evolve the gameplay of this game in general using Pokémon like this, then you should be able to assign different item sets / emblem sets either based on the Pokémon's move-set path, or after knowing what the enemy team is. Since these can rely on different needed item sets, you've kind of already locked in your choice before knowing what you'll be facing. Would be nice to be able to decide your path after knowing what you're going against.
You can also use the enhanced boosted attack from swords dance while performing bullet punch
Like get 4- 5 stacks after using swords dance then use bullet punch and it will activate
Does the recharge ability also charge unite move?
For anyone who is struggling to play as scyther,a good way to do a little bit of extra damage is to use dual wingbeat once,then attack twice with the basic attack,then use the dash and get another two basic attacks since the special ability for scizor/scyther doesn’t really have any cooldown whatsoever,this gives quite an advantage when partnered up with a move like swords dance,because that’s six strikes if you hit the x-shaped aoe of dual wingbeat then the two basic attacks,then the dash and the next two basic attacks,then just two more hits and it’ll trigger the swords dance attack
I am really excited to play Scyther/Scizor. I know some may prefer one over the other, but I would rather play them based on team comp. If my team needs an assassin, I choose Scyther. Do they need a brawler with good sustain and survivability, I go Scizor.
Looking at my games we never need an assassin because someone is always playing gengar

Ideally it would have a item/emblem setup that would work with both, so you can decide in the middle of the battle which is the best route to go in that particular battle. Do you think there is a setup that works for both?

Are red emblems worth using?
I tried a 7 red emblem build along with muscle band to get the most possible basic attack speed.
I couldn't tell if it was effective.

With Scizor it seems that slow smoke would be incredible with it
Currently i run:
Crit and movement based boost emblems
Attack battle item
Scope lens, Razor Claw, muscle band
And go full scyther. 17 kill games + many assists, jungle helps me get kills super early on. Then I tend to stick on bottom path and focus on whatever bottom pokemon gives the shields and attack speed

i just got scizor and i am in love
I was incredibly excited for Scizor and so disappointed when I finally played him. He's basically a jack of all trades master of none which just mean's that there are Pokemon that do everything he does better. He's not tanky enough to tank or survive burst champs, doesn't do enough damage to dive backline, and isn't mobile enough to chase because his cooldowns are so long.
Scyther seems better as a burst mobility Pokemon, but right now Dual Wingbeat is bugged as shit and just randomly goes off in random directions unless you actually drag it to the right location, which is hard with mobile Pokemon. He's also super squishy and doesn't have the burst of speedsters that also have to be in melee.
All in all, both sides don't fit well into the game at the moment and Scizor himself is just underpowered because Bullet Punch does shiiiiit for damage unless you've been able to charge it to 3 which is very difficult with its cooldown.
Bullet punch has a few major problems.
First it is not unstoppable, before any close combat lucario buffs, it’s pretty unusable as it’s not unstoppable.
Second even though luca close combat heals it’s not that good as u are standing still meaning the whole 5 opposing team members will attack u. In a 1v1 it’s good but teamfighting wise it’s ehh. Without significant healing it’s a go in punch and die combo. Unless u are super far ahead, but any Pokémon super far ahead will dominate right.

I was about to buy it, but then I got walled by the asinine "Only Gems" thing.
And that made me remember when they where swearing that the coins price of 14k was something only for Tyranitar and what not.
But Dodrio cost the same 14k, and the gems cost of Scizor is the same of those two.
That tells me that they where lying out of they arse and the cost of licensees is only going to get higher and higher going forward.
As a Kayn and Kha'Zix player, this feels like a real love letter. Can't wait

I am super excited to play both as Bug types are my favorite. I cannot wait to try out scyther to get a better understanding but from your videos I believe scizor will be the better choice.

In the mainline games, both Scyther and Scizor have the same base stat total, just allocated differently.
The incremental increases in unite, per level, may reflect that?

Yeah I think that’s every Pokémon going forward. I could do without that but ultimately I hope that they lower the coin cost at least after a certain period of time. Such as Pokémon that are from a few seasons ago.
@@dumdumer892 there were some pokémons which were 5k back then, but it seems like they raised the price of every one of them so I doubt they'd ever decrease their price, if lucky they'll remain the same instead of increasing again.
Scyther seems very good I played 3 matches after buying and got 1,00,000+ damage in 2 matches and 70k+ in another.
However , I prefer sowrds dance over double hit with the dual wingbeat.
Scizor all the way as I am a very big fan of Scizor
Bullet punch needs a cd reduction buff. 8 seconds is too much for a skill to completely function.
