Apart from seconding what Wtii said about basically scaling down the heroes to normal size and squeezing down the base in turn(maybe make the area where the mobs flood in longer so they can fit inside during heavy leaks), I also would like to see the towers serve a better role in the game.
In this video, OC and co got away with having _no_ towers at all by the end, which I can't see happening with someone going hard into towers. Having a 1200 cost tower be barely better(if at all) than two 275 cost towers says a lot about the map's focus. Have it possible for the towers to kill ~75% of the mobs at least, and nerf the heroes so they serve as proper clean up. To give the players more options, you _can_ let them just beef out their hero and do a lot of the work in that regard, but also give players the option to play mostly TD and have the heroes as an afterthought as well. This can be done by lowering the base cost of some towers, then giving them 4 - 6 upgrades that scale until late game. *TL;DR:* Buff towers and nerf heroes, but only to the point where the players can choose which side to focus on.
I would also like an option that allows an equal balance of both playstyles, but that seems like it would be a nightmare and a half to accomplish across all races.
And increase the PotM's owl's area of effect. Maybe nerf its damage a bit to compensate.
I really like the concept of that "in-between" wilderness sort of area, cool concept.
Maybe when you get some more players you can play this map again. Very entertaining!

Broskie, it's about towers and maze kills not hero kills considering minions give 2x less gold after leaking ;P Also no, that was second or third time we tried this map considering all earlier crashes.

Should have shared gold with teal so he wouldn't leak so bad. Would have allowed uou to won the end of round bonus and just do better overall
