    this is great, do you think it will work in a heavy thick plate?
    maybe multiple shallow cuts

      For heavy stock you will need to carve out the metal. See my video - Understanding cold chisels.

    I remember seeing this in one of your weekly updates, and it's possible that if I watched the original I might get my answer, so, if that's the case, just tell me to rewatch it rather than expending your time in answering this. I was trying to recall, is there a particular reason that there needed to be a square hole versus a round one? As always, thank you for your time, Denis!

      I used a carriage bolt for that clamp so I would only need to use one wrench to tighten it. The square hole fit the head of the bolt I was using.

    Would this work on stainless steel sheet? I have a thickness of 0.05" or 1mm and I need tiny square holes (~0.2" or 5.1mm)
