Well I have to admit, the developers of this game are trying their best to improve this game despise the critics, and I'm not gonna lie, I see they're putting their back into it. I don't have any expectations of this game failing or success, but I guess the time will decide it's fate

the animation was much better in the trailer, and they gave us this, honestly they could've put more time on the game, i can see why people didn't like it/were disappointed
At least they Improved it a bit , but they need to add maps , a couple more bosses , ability to actually save , more boss attacks , less run a guns , actual level design and that’s it

Okay, but we should actually discuss the comparison. First off, this game looks like it takes inspiration rather than ripping off Cuphead with its setting in the design and story of both the main characters and its bosses. However, comparing the witch to the Garden Gang is no contest because the former seems uncannily easy. Like stand in place for a few seconds easy. It's platformer Dark Souls but even then, it still somewhat lacks Cuphead's challenge even in its later boss fights.
You can blame pricks who gaslighted this game in making out a cuphead clone (even when it evidently wasn’t) meaning this game never got the crowdfunding needed to make it the masterpiece it should’ve been

This game definitely has a problem with the bosses simply not doing much. Most of them just kinda hang back while their minions do all the work. And that Beethoven stage is straight outta _Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp._ Regardless, it's actually a very pretty game nd I absolutely love some of the boss designs! Seems a bit easy and maybe a little boring, but fun to look at! Diggin' the player transformations, too. I really hope those can be unlocked as permanent transformations after beating the game or something!
