Can i unlock t mobile network on Samsung s23 after root on that wont help?
I do it the same way, but magisk is not installed, so I can't root, I tried to discount the stock rom, but I couldn't do it, what am I doing wrong?
I'm doing it with Magisk 25.2, is it because of the version?
it might be. try the latest version from GitHub
Hey can i root my s tab s9 same like the video?
Hi guys! Is it possible to root the SM-S918U, CSC ATT. I'd like to change this FW for the global version instead.
you can change CSC regions on Samsung Galaxy phones without rooting them. but sadly, you cannot root that variant UNLESS you are able to unlock the bootloader first.
and to my knowledge, that is impossible unless there's an exploit that works around it (Which I'm not aware of right now)

@@ExplainingAndroid Hello.....totally new to Samsung phones and have been on OnePlus for years with the OP 8 & 9 Pro. I am in the US and ordered a 23 Ultra hoping to be able to root it. Just root. It sounds like you are saying the US version is impossible to unlock the bootloader which rooting I need to do? Can I return the US phone for a different model to get root while living in USA?
@@ParcoUpchurch I imported a rootable version from an eBay reseller and am able to root the phone
however, you may have difficulty using that phone on the wireless carrier of your choice. imported phones like this only work with a limited number of bands (so signal can be hit or miss, depending on your area) and some carriers (like Verizon) won't even allow the phone on their network (you'd have to call and ask about your IMEI)

Snapdragon or exynos?
Вышла версия Магиск (8e82113b) (27007)
Работает с прошивками выше 8гб,на 23 ультра патчит образ 15 гб. Используйте. Я 3 часа жизни потерял
Are there any ROMS for S23? If so will you review some. Thanks
the only two ROMs I'm seeing right now are based on Samsung's One UI firmware (so they are slimmed down and debloated but are not AOSP based like LineageOS is. Since these phones use the Qualcomm chipset (and aren't split between Snapdragon and Exynos), I expect the dev scene to be very active over the next few years.
Be sure to subscribe to the channel and I will be sure to highlight some of these ROMs in the future.
give error in recovery cannot load android system your data may be corrupted
if its happenned just factory reset and reinstall mg and everything its fine
Hey explaining android,I use a Samsung A7 lite tablet, and I saw a video that The: Home_Csc file does not wipe dats andt he Csc file does wipe data,is it true that the Home_CSC file does not wipe data? My phone is not rooted yet,but I don't want to erase my dats,Where should I backup all the Sd card file? Should I use Twrp?
yes, home_csc does not erase data and the regular csc file does erase data. but if you're wanting to go from an unrooted phone to a rooted phone then you HAVE to use the regular CSC file to erase data
the way I've seen it explained, the phone simply will not work properly if you try this with the home_csc file.
after you root the phone and you want to update from an rooted firmware to another rooted firmware (like installing a new OTA update), then you can use the regular csc file to keep all of your data
you will want to back up your data somewhere on your PC
@@ExplainingAndroid how do I backup all my data including the Sd card? Should I use a USB? What are apps that backup all your data but it's not subscription based?

@@mbopefan838 I understand
would I be able to do this on MacOS Ventura ?
I have been searching for this as well. In the past, I have used the Heimdall CLI tool to do this, but that tool has not been updated in years so I'm not sure if it still works (I've been too chicken to try it out since I don't have a spare to test it out). I think there's also JOdin that should technically work, but again, have tried it. Personally I prefer cli tools, and I wish Samsung would just stick to ADB tools like some other manufacturers for firmware updates...
Hey can i buy the phone off u in the video?
are you wanting the phone to be rooted? or do you want it wiped clean back to stock One UI?
I would need like $1200 if you were wanting to buy the phone (to help pay for shipping)

this will also work for all models of the Galaxy S22 series as well. just download the firmware that matches your device, patch it with magisk, and then flash it (the same way) with odin

Does this trip Knox permanently?
yes, doing this will trip knox and you will lose access to certain Samsung features/apps. I do want to cover a mod that will bring some of that back, but I need to test it first

@@ExplainingAndroidCan all s23 ultra models be rooted? Can it mess up your phone???
@@Oreguns85 sadly, no. some models are blocked from unlocking the bootloader (which makes it much harder to root properly). but if you can unlock the bootloader then rooting it is straightforward
Why would someone root their phones?
Me from USA is sad
Thanks. But you are too slow.
Hi, can the US version of s23 ultra (Tmobile) be rooted?
it can, but only IF you can unlock the bootloader. sadly, there isn't an officially supported method of this for the tmobile/US version.
every now and then an exploit will be found that will let you unlock the bootloader (even on this model). and sometimes there are paid services that can offer this type of thing
but as of right now, I'm not aware of any of these for the S23/s23 ultra series
