what are those wheels i need to know details
Hi. i have a few questions. I own a 2016 Volkwagen GTI S, so I do not have the KESSY feature. Will the DBALL2 still work for my car? Also, is the DBALL2 all I need to install? I've read forums online saying I need more than that. Lastly, is there an installation guide for installing it to MQB platforms (MK7 Golf, Golf GTI, R, etc.)?
Yes the DBALL2 will work on your car, but the DBALL2 has been replaced by the DB3, which will also work. You will need to give up (sacrifice) a key to install this on your car. We also now have other options for remote start on VWs, such as the iDatalink VWX000A and the FOrtin EVO-VW series.

Hi, this exact system as outlined in the video is designed to work with the OEM keyless entry fob, if your car doesn't have key less entry, then you'd need to add an RF kit (basically a key fob kit with an antenna). EMail us at sales@lockdownsecurity.ca for more details.

Does it have the takeover function for the remote start? Or does the car shuts off when I open the door.
+Linus Cheng Hi Linus, yes it has full takeover, both for regular key VWs and the push to start VWs
Did the chrome side view mirror come stock or were they installed later? Didn't think that was available. For that matter, the retracting side mirrors, didn't come with my 2016 R. Did that come standard?
+jm sma Im not sure but i think you have to enable it in the code of the car
+jm sma I am pretty sure the caps were installed after, because i am 100% positive that the US market only gets the black ones, and chrome are for Europe.

Hi Anthony, yes there is, the DB-ALL2 as shown in this video will work on the 2017 as far as we can tell.
How do I get this done on my 2016 golf I called a bunch of places and they said they can't do it
