I love your perfect pouches!!! This one is mine and I get compliments from people all the time on how cute it is!! I’ve only had it for a short while but it’s absolutely adorable
@@Sew_Country Of course! 😂 Pouches are always fun to sew up. I love a good quick project that doesn’t require a lot of materials and time! And they’re great for gifting.
I have looked all over, and can't seem to find anyone else doing this pouch. And maybe it's within the pattern and I just haven't gotten to that point but with the templates it comes with to quilt the patterns. How would you go about transferring that over to a cut piece? I have never tried any quilting but when I printed this pattern out and saw the templates makes me want to try it.
Hi Annie! I have not done this either, so I reached out to the pattern designer. She gave me some tips. She said that personally she used her small rotary cutter to cut knotches (or lines) in the pattern and then transferred them to the fabric with a removable marking tool. She said one lady laid the pattern on the fabric sewed through the paper and then tore it away and one lady suggested using an embroidery machine. I personally haven't tried any of these methods so I can't vouch for how easy they would be but I would love to hear back from you if you choose to try it.
@@Sew_Country okay I might try the first one. I have done this for other purposes in patterns but not for tracing on something for quilting.thanks for reaching out and getting me somewhere to start!
Yes, the cabinet is an old, used one that I found at my local quilt store. I priced the acrylic pieces to fill in the space, but it was too pricey for me! Lol. Thank you for watching the video!! :)
Thank you for another fantastic tutorial. I have bought the pattern, so now all i need to do if get cutting :)

Is your machine in an older sewing machine cabinet and do you have a plastic filler making sure everything is flush. Love the video.

Would you consider doing a video on sewing this pattern in all clear vinyl?
@@cherylholloway6389 Definitely!! I have made 3 in clear vinyl already!!
@@Sew_CountryThank you!!!!!
Have you tried decovil instead of fleece? I have no luck with fleece always fuses so wrinkled. I will have to try it.
I think you are using somebody else's pattern
Linda, yes I am using the pattern from the designer Made by L. I am not a pattern designer. The designer gave me permission to create the tutorial.
Yes, this is a pattern which I and asked Beth / Sew Country to do a video for.
@@Made_By_L Thank you!!
