Hey Alex, great video, thanks for sharing! I would also suggest to look into renting an apartment for long-term directly from the hosts. The price is even cheaper there and you can easily can find 6 months lease if you don't want to stay for long.
Very nice video Alex and thank you for sharing. The eggplant dish looked really good and I am excited to see more of Georgia places to eat and their prices. For a short term rent the price is really good for its location. A place like this in Honolulu can range from $1,600 to $2,000 a month.
It was really tasty and totally worth the price. Wow that's really expensive. Thank you for sharing that info. You can retire here or Turkey for less than $1000 a month comfortably. There's also a huge English speaking expat community here so you'll never feel far from home.
What I do in hotels is wash clothes everyday in the basin with a soap bar, wring tight and hang up where it'll dry overnight. If u let the clothes pile up, then a washing machine is needed. So by washing everyday, there's no need to look for a machine. Everyday, it's just 1 or 2 pieces of underwear or a T-shirt. Just plug up the basin and rub a soap bar on the clothes where u feel is needed. Don't have to do the entire T-shirt.
Honestly, an induction stove top in Georgia is for many people there high tech. And half a Lari for the Metro, that's not even 14 €uro cents. I can't even buy a 'Brötchen' here for that amount of money, great price! Ah, the Mokka cups at the top of your cupboards with black and pink. They were so popular among Turks in Turkey and Germany. You got them in every turkish store, no matter how tiny. We even still have them and plates form that series. :D 350$ is NOTHING for a foreigner in such a clean space, and the capital of a country… at least you have been lucky after that disaster start there. EDIT - A place like that would cost about 600-800€ here for sure. Maybe even more, the further you go inside the centre of our city. And the entrance with the frsh green colour is lovely, MUCH³ better than we you got last time for us. I mean it's just the staircase to the apartments after all. :D
Wow! Thank you so much for the comment! Also your attention to detail is really impressive. I had to open my cupboard to see those cups lol You're absolutely right about everything you said. A place like this would easily cost 1500 in Canada. I've been taking the Metro late. It's really fast and efficient. I don't have to worry about the traffic and it's a fraction of the cost. I too like the green area at the front. I was playing around with some teens on the basketball court and it was lots of fun.
So many things to comment on in this video! I LOVE this apartment so much more than the other one. Actually, i even like this one better than the apartment in Turkey!😍 As for the shower situation......in Brazil (country i live), we have hot water......but only because Brazilians hook it up to the electrical system😬 Its quite strange, but I am grateful😅 FUN FACT....hot water in the shower, no hot water to wash dishes. Its a nightmare. I wasn't expecting your apartment to look so nice because of the outside of the building. Thank you for the tour! P.S. I think that cabinet might be locked because its just the cleaning stuff.....not 100% on that though😅
Yes I like it better than Istanbul apartment too and it's cheaper 😏 Yah hooking electric wires directly to the shower head scares me too 😬 Yah just the staircase is a lil beat up. By the way I check out your channel. Cool SCARY stories 😁 I'm a subscriber now!
Thanks for your video Alex, much appreciated. We arrived in Batumi a week ago and need to find a good apartment from 1 Dec'21. Where can we look for apartments?
Depending on your budget and length of stay. For short term I recommend Airbnb and look at the apartment before paying. Talk to the owner and I'm sure you'll get a discount. For long term 6 months to a year then definitely myhome.ge or fb groups. Also try ss.ge
Entry- many countries have 1YEAR tourist visa here so there are many expats here. Food- Delicious and big portions Rent- Really affordable compared to many developed countries 250-350 monthly for 1 bedroom furnished all inclusive Transportation- cheaper than any country I've ever been to. Internet and phone data- $7 unlimited for a month People- haven't had an issue yet Overall- low cost of living, great food, easy entry and long term stress free visa for many nationalities l.
Yes very. You can take short relatively cheap flight and for many countries they csn stay here for up to a full year without worrying about visa. And all u need is to be vaccinated or a negative PCR test.
Good to see you've gotten settled in. Nice apartment. I believe you're a little below market rent even out of tourist season. It looks pretty new. If you're looking for a huge supermarket with western type foods, etc. there's a Carrefour in Tbilisi with reasonable prices. 2 weeks left in IST here. Then back to the states till Rio and BA mid-February through mid-April. Have a great time in Georgia. Your dollars will go far...
1. What do you think of this apartment? How much would a place like this cost in your city?
In Mexico City in a place like Condesa or the main expensive streets, it would cost me like 800 to 1k USD lmao Georgia looks great!
Wow 😳 I always assumed Mexico would be cheap. But I guess the areas you mentioned are high end neighborhoods.
Good to know.
Tnx for the vid. Appreciate it. Im going to visit georgio soon
You're welcome. Enjoy🥳

Nice apartment 👍👍👍
Thank you so much!
Hello Alex!
I couldn't help but noticed that you have a Ghanaian best friend, by name "Darko"
Great travel exploration as usual!!!🙏🏿
Thank you so much! He isn't Ghanaian but cool to know it's a popular name there :)
In Anchorage Alaska I would say that would run about $1,100 usd.
Oh wow. Thanks for sharing 😊

Alex nice video bro..pls how can you compare turkey with other country you been to?
Every country is different and unique. Can you be more specific?
In term of everything and most especially as a foreigner living abroad
Entry- many countries have 1YEAR tourist visa here so there are many expats here.

Awesome Video Alex👌. Really nice apartment & a Great price👍. Mmmmm what's in the locked cupboard 🤔 Maybe the last tenant 😱🤣🤣.... Only joking!!😏☘.
O wow now I'm scared. Maybe it's a washer, they don't want me using ahha
But now I'm kind of scared someone's living in there, dead or alive haha
@@Livingabroadalex 😀😀, Awww Sorry Alex 🤗, I would say it could be the water meter/ electricity meter if they are not outside. Don't be scared☘.
Haha ok fine if you say so 😅
I'll try and think about something else instead 😉
@@Livingabroadalex you could Always try picking the lock!!! It's probably only the owners Euromillions winnings 🤣🤣.
You're definitely going go get me in trouble 😈
But challenge accepted and I will try to pick the lock 😁 and make a video of it.
Hello, I am moving to Georgia Tbilisi and would like to know how you got the apartment please.
Hi Ada I messaged the Airnb host and asked her if she would accept cash in person for a lower amount listed on Airbnb n she accepted
Do you think they would also do a year contract?
Yes most likely. It depends on the unit owner. I asked for month to month and she was cool with it
Alright that’s amazing news, thank you 😊
My pleasure. Goodluck 😊
How much to rent studio room in Tbilisi?
Sir please can you tell me apartment near Alte university and monthly rent
Hi Alex, which area of Tblisi are you in?
The area is called Saburtalo :)
Is it easy for someone to move from Turkey to Georgia
