I bet most of us Filipinos don't even know these places exists. Thank you for the History lesson. I was never taught this in my history class. Only what happened here in the US. So proud to be a Pinay.
That's what I said. I just found out about it through this vlogger. When I was growing up in Manila, places like Nayong Pilipino & UP Balara were the top picks for field trips. I hope this place will become an option for the school kids so they can appreciate the history more. Greetings from Orlando, FL
My mom grew up on that street and I also lived there till I was 10, and we didn't go to the shrine, because it was just a park back then that nobody went to due to the rumor that it was haunted by the spirits of the people who died during the war.
Kudos to you for giving awareness to all viewers to participate and to learn more about Philippine history, in general majority of Filipinos just do not have an ounce of mindfulness to learn more about our past which is appalling and an insult to our heroes who risked their lives to mold our country.

Nostalgic.! Dyan kame nakatira nung 90's.. Marami akong memories dyan. 😊
The museum, diorama & the tunnel are well kept. I hope the school would consider it as a option for school field trip as they are important in our history. I've never heard of this tunnel until now. I also hope that the govt. will keep up with it. Thanks for sharing.

I've never been here, I only heard the place "pinaglabanan". I did not know that theres an old underground water reservoir in San Juan called "El Deposito" built by the Spaniards in 1880. Will add this one to my visit list. I hope there's a website or a tour company that provides tours to see historical places in Philippines for tourists or balikbayans who want to see them. Like 5 places or more like a tour package for a fee. I'm sure a lot of tourist will enjoy the tour. Will bring more tourist and help in maintenance cost. Thanks for the tour!
Buti na lang naka subscribe na ako, notified agad ako pag me bago kang upload. It's only today na nalaman ko na me El Deposito pala and located in San Juan. Also the Museo ng Katipunan. Europe had such wonderful engineering feats which they learned primarily from Ancient Rome. Although the British was responsible for the modern sewage and waterworks systems, the Spanish are the ones who introduced us the modern ways of bringing water from rivers through towns, especially in urban areas.
