I bought mine about a month ago on sale at Dicks Sporting Goods for $350. Added a nice PFD and a paddle for a total of about $500 with tax. I love it , for the money it’s a great kayak. I bought it exclusively for fishing. If you decide to fish with it you may want to invest in an anchor. You can get one with a float and about 50ft of rope for about $25. Good luck and thanks for sharing cheers!

Thanks for watching and for commenting Scott! I think you'll enjoy it as a good platform. I've since added a deck compartment in front for extra storage. I haven't made the jump into fishing with it yet.

Very nice and inexpensive. I will have to explore Denton Creek further up towards 377 and maybe beyond - the creeks looks much more narrow and shallow west of 377. Thanks for watching!

Hey thanks for sharing your video. I'm in Rowlett next to Lake Ray Hubbard. I'm thinking about getting this kayak for fishing. I'm curious how well does the kayak do on the lake when it gets choppy and the current is strong and the wind picks up? Can you still paddle well and cover good distance?
Also when I'm out on the lake I like to go for a dip every now and then to cook off. I'm curious how hard it is to get back on too if the kayak if you go in the water? Also how stable is the kayak?
I appreciate any feed back you can give me. I currently have a canoe that I have taken on the lake and it does decent but I'm thinking I might like the kayak better.

Hi Travis. Thanks for watching. So far my experience is somewhat limited but it is a stable kayak. I'm 180 pounds and with a little gear added it is noticeable how much lower it sits in the water making it slower. Overall I would say it's okay in strong winds but not something I would recommend if you're going out for a long day. I have another video where I paddled to wolf island on lake ray roberts and it was tough coming back into the wind. Generally if winds are more than 15mph I probably wouldn't go out on big open water as paddling would just become a chore. I haven't ever tried to get back onto the kayak from in the water so can't offer advice. I hope this helps. Be glad to answer other questions. Thanks again!

Last year they were selling for around $300! I also got a 25% discount for applying for a store credit card so that helped out alot. Thanks for watching!

I bought mine at Academy in Dothan Alabama while working up there last June for 349.00 feel like I got a good deal now. With paddle and pfd it was just over 430 and some change.
