Dodgers can’t say the same can they ?
Nothing personal about Juan Soto. Free market, get all you can. However, I'm done with MLB. The salaries are one thing. Public money used to build stadiums with that same public money basically transferred to bloated salaries, is another fact, yes that's correct. Your tax dollars are paying for these salaries. Yes, that is the bottom line. But, mostly, I miss the beautiful game as it was intended to be played. Bunting, steals, hit and run, base hits. When defense meant something. Now that over 80 percent of "at bats" result in a K, a HR, a Walk or a Hit by Pitch, I have lost interest. Throw in the "juiced" ball, yes it's juiced, I'm sorry to let you know that. Exit velocity, HR distance and launch angle are all the rage. Pitcher safety, not so much? But, for those that enjoy financially supporting MLB, you are free and welcome to do it. For me, I might take in a High School game here or there to watch some actual baseball being played. Peace to everyone. Have a great holiday season.

Imagine if the NATS kept everyone they drafted and weren't so cheap. Good lord . Bryce. Max. Juan. Trea. Kyle, rendon , sounds fun
Good for soto
I'm a Yankee fan, I'm not even that mad but he is not worth $765m, he has no MVPs and then shohei 3 MVPs and getting payed $700m for 10 years
He is a met let’s go Mets no more Bronx in queens in city field no Yankees
Thank god the dodgers didnt pay him this much, i would've been so mad. He's not worth that money at all and the mets are the only ones that can remotely get away with it
The first thing I noticed was how much better the Nationals helmets looked when they were glossy instead of matte ...

So happy the Dodgets did'nt get him, Juan Soto will only distrupt the chemistry on the team with his sour attitude, the Mets got anoher Javier Biaz 😅

ohtani was more of a distraction with his gambling and media cameras everywhere
Every team in the NL east has won the world series in the last 25 years except the lolmets 🤣🤣🤣
And the lolmets have spent more $$$ than probably all other 4 teams combined 😂😂😂
Crazy deal
Even as a hitter Ohtani is a better offensive player and hitter then Soto, and baserunning Soto stole 6 bases caught 4 times, Ohtani stole 59 bases caught 4 times.
Soto a lot better at the plate especially in clutch moments, he’s also 25.. maybe if ohtani pitches again I’ll see the point of ur hating
@@curtis4948😅When did a player become known as a great hitter with a .288 average, Ohtani hit .310 and Judge .322, they are great hitters, Soto is a good hitter and the most overrated player.
As a Yankees fan this is hilarious just wait till we see Soto run down balls in a bigger park I’m Glad because it’s a team effort and we can go get pitching and Pete Alonzo we need a first baseman also Domingues can become great, also Soto loyalty is Money and 5 million dollars is the reason he said the Mets not because he wants to win let’s be honest the Mets weren’t a playoff team teams fell off but let’s be honest They sucked and now that they have a 765 million dollar player how can they build a team to compete
from Washington to San Diego and to New York

Super happy for Juan Soto! I'm not saying he deserved this contract, BUT it doesn’t mean that we can't be happy for him! Hopefully he lives up to this contract. ❤ from SD.

2.not beating the dodgers still

It's not worth paying that much for Soto, right? That's strange! That's ridiculous

I am shaking
Welcome to the Mets, Juan! Thank you Yankees for introducing him to NYC, but i think we'll take it from here :) Oh, and the best part is the Mets still have over 100 million to spend this offseason, so we're only just beginning. Muahahahahahaa
I bet you that this will go down as the worst signing ever I would understand if the Mets were 1 hitter away but they are few hitters pitchers and bullpen help now you going sign and bring up kids that are not MLB ready this is dumb
765 million for a guy who's just an Alonso in right field? Glad the Mariners didn't sign him and might sign Pete Alonso.
big overpay but hes 18 times the hitter alonso is, to be completely fair
765 million for a guy who has a ring, which is more than you seen the Mariners win in your lifetime. luckily, you're a Mariners fans so you don't have to worry about top free agents going to a mid franchise. Mariners usually do 50 trades per season just to finish 3rd/4th. crazy a fan of a poverty franchise trying to talk down the best free agent in baseball.
Alot of tacos and jelopena the migrant player can buy now.
Why do they keep lying about his defense?
It was about the money the whole time. Imagine going to the World Series and then selling out immediately after. He’s not even good in right field. Greed like this is the reason ordinary families can’t go to see the ball games anymore.
Not only is Juan Soto an incredible hitter, but this sets a new standard for contract values in baseball. The league has a bright future if teams continue spending money for superstar talent like this
Ngl he should’ve stayed with the Yankees.
Juan Soto is the most overrated player ever, the guy is just one dimentional, absolutely no speed or defense, no range in the outfield and a terrible baserunner, also not a mega superstar that can generate revenue and marketing.
Ultimate bag chaser, not worth it.
Soto got a very huge payday.
Should have been blue jays
every yankee fan including myself are not happy right now
you should be happy, 765s way too much for someone like soto, spend that 51m a year on a few players
Sad ball knowledge in the comments 💔💔💔
LETS GO METS BABY!!!!🔹🔸🔹🔸
Soto has become the pariah of baseball by showing his greed and outrageous self-indulgence. He is not worth this price, period, no matter how much you might defer his payment, you are not getting your investment back.
Yet Mets are clueless enough to sign that deal.
Who said his payments are deferred?Othani’s payments are deferred. I am almost certain that Steve Cohen is going to regret this.
Almost a billion dollars to play baseball n to a terrible franchise is insane. Can’t be mad thou.
從6億多美元,炒到7.65億美元,太誇張了,比房子漲的凶...
Bro 400mil at best I don’t get it
No deferrals.
Soto will be a Met for life!!!! LGM
Congratulations. Soto will soon become a DH, and unlike Ohtani, there’s no deferred payment in his deal. I’m looking forward to seeing how that plays out for the Mets.😊
@@KanetsuguNaoe1112 Hopefully you, as a dodger fan, aren’t wanting to complain. I’m pretty sure the Mets have an owner whose net worth is about 21.3 billion and counting. Pretty sure they’ll be fine even with just 2 big contracts they’re currently paying. Having the ability to pay big money up front seems like a bigger flex than deferring everything. Dodgers can’t say the same can they ?
Ya new York could support more MLB teams like old days there's so many eyeballs in New York & after last year baseball is big again (
Won't be Jayson Bay
Pete Alonso: I thought we had something special 🥲

I rarely comment, but this has to be said. As a Giants fan whos team was never going to get him, ya'll need to grow up in the comments. Ya'll are are just mad that your team didn't get him. Now is it an overpay? yes it absolutely is, but Juan Soto is an amazing player. Plus ya'll are just hating because its a trend to just hate anything the Mets do, no matter how positive it is. It been that way for years. #LOLMETS is a thing for a reason.

Aprende a analizar.
