I’m so glad you could get these! Their smell is definitely overwhelming at first, my #8 was INCREDIBLYYYY strong smelling at first, but his smell faded overtime and you have to smell with their heads practically against your nose to smell it! Another note: The reboot pets heads are larger due to the different plastic they’re using! The heads are in reality not much bigger however, but the plastic they use now is thinner and expands more than the original! (Hence the squishieness, although that changes depending on the pet. Some don’t have squishy heads at all, while others do, just like the original pets!) They use a different plastic as it’s cheaper and means they can keep the pets at a reasonable price, but it’s still a high quality plastic which is decently durable!
This was recorded a while ago and the smell on my ones have thankfully started to fade too :'). I didn't know about the plastic, that's really interesting!!
You make a good point about the purple panda’s eyes. While I like the heart eyes on both, giving the purple panda different eyes would make it more unique, especially when they’re in the same series of blind boxes.
Oh my gosh, i had givien up on finding the g7 too, and then i got the whole blind box set from my mom, for my birthday too 😂 The bull was definitely a disappointment sadly I didnt film it tho, just opend them with my sister, mine actually didnt smell that bad, as someone with sensory issues as well, the only way i could tell is if i put it really close to my face. Its kinda weird how the plastic smell varies from lps, the tubes i i unboxed had a strong smell even when i held them far away, like whats happening with yours, its really strange
