I watched this first in 2012. That was when I first watched Hikaru no Go and read it.... My first anime (Pokémon and stuff like this not included) and my first manga. I was always impressed by the music. But every time I hear it I have to think about Hikaru, Akira and Sai and have to cry....
I cried 4 times listening to this... this anime brings out so many emotions! Thank you for sharing the sheet music, it is definitely the next thing I'll be learning!!
it gave me the same feeling the actual soundtrack gives me each time... i want to play go again now, and even though it doesn't sound like much, it is everything. one piece of art, very talented indeed =)
The last episode still makes me feel very lonely and empty inside, although at the same time its heart warming. Hikaru no Go is such a great anime/manga.

Let's be real here it's a great anime but it really isn't the best, the characters are very deep and Hikaru is so annoying during the time when he loses Sai. I still love it though, it's what got me into playing Go! :)
8 year old comment and all, but I always liked the portrayal of Hikaru losing Sai. Everyone's different, but his reaction resonated with my own to grief at the time and it helped me look towards the future.
