Hi! I really enjoyed your reaction video. It was fun! I can give a few points that might help to understand the song and the video.
That is so cute how you searched for the translation, but it didn't make any sense to you. You're right, literally it translates as "call me with you", but the real meaning would be "ask me to follow you". So she sings: Ask me to follow you, and I will come through the cruel nights, I will follow you no matter what the journey brings...
You asked how old this song/music video is. The music video is from 1999. Back in the 90s Russia was behind the West technology-wise, so yeah film cameras where still widely used back then.
But the song itself was written before 1995 by a Russian composer and poet Tatiana Snezhina. She tragically passed away in 1995 in a car crash, she was only 23. In the beginning of the song, it's written: Dedicated to memory of Tatiana Snezhina.
The video symbolizes tragic death of Tatiana. The young woman is on the way to see the love of her life, you see how she goes through the sheets of music (so she must be a composer or musician), and then at the end the man picks up from the ground the pendant that he and she bought from a shop in Tibet, and that's how he knows it was her in the car that crashed. So sad!
You noticed how dramatic Alla Pugacheva is singing this song. And that's because it is a dramatic song, and the fact that it reflects true events, when a young life of a talented woman was lost, makes it even more so!
Again thank you for this video! I was in high school when this song/video first came out, and it was very popular. Your video brought memories for me!

Thanks so much for the backstory. Yeah, the dedication and real-life story definitely help make sense of the song. Definitely feels more profound now.

Автор этой песни Татьяна Снежина, она погибла в автокатастрофе со своим женихом в 1995 году, ей было 23 года. Алла Пугачева спела эту песню уже после смерти Татьяны в 1997 году.

    I
    Wind of ill-change brings you
    away from me again,
leaving me not even a shadow in return
    and without asking.
Maybe I want to fly away with you
    as yellow autumn leaves,
    as bird for blue dream.
    Chorus
    Call me along -
    I'll come through evil nights,
I'll head out for you, whatever road may bring,
I'll come to where you (are/will
draw a sun in the sky),
    to where broken dreams
    regain the power of height.
    II
For (so/how) long I've been looking for you through the years
    in a crowd.
I thought you'll be with me forever,
    but you leave.
Now you won't recognize me in the crowd,
but as I love you still,
    I let you go.
    Chorus
    III
Each time as soon as night descends
    on the sleeping town
I run from the sleepless home away
    to toska and cold.
Among faceless dreams I look for you
but in the world of a new day
    I still walk without you.
    Chorus

Yes, it's an old song, but it's been on my playlist for many years. I recommend a couple more songs of this singer called "The White Door" (Белая дверь) and "The Candle Burned" (Свеча горела).

The meaning of позови меня с тобой can be interpreted as: call out to name
