    I instantly realized .. that dirt .. is sooooooo good !! What a descent !! Am in Hood River n have sampled "the Gifford goods" alot in spring when moisture content is where we "gear head speed addicts" want it !! Alot of it is both dirt bike n ATV trails, the latter being the best for their width .. equaling "going mo faaast, ah !!" Garth Hardin on utube to see some of the Post Canyon goods including trail side naps .. Ride Jump or Wither !!!

    Trans-Cascadia now has what they call "excursions" for non-racers. Single-day, multi-day, from the Gifford-Pinchot in Washington down through Oregon as far south as Oakridge. Big guided days in the back country. Really fun. Done one so far and am signed up for a bunch more.

    I've hiked this trail a few years ago from S to N. Unbelievable views, some of the best I've ever seen, though it looks like you were there in the clouds. Transcascadia is awesome. Looking forward to trying this ride out.

      For me yea, I really dont think theres much of a difference between a shot blok/gu/etc than just straight candy. Open to alternative opinions though

    Rocket speed!! I live in WA. and have been wanting toride one of the stages of the Trans-cascadia. Was this the one recommended to you if only doing one? I want get out there. Thanks for the vid!

    What setting do you run your flip chip in? Been riding my rocky altitude in middle setting and love it but gonna try the slack angle at the bike park tomorrow.

      With the 170mm up front I run it in Position 3. When I still had 160, it was in Pos 1.

      It actually wasnt too bad, about 2 hours on fireroad, another hour on the singletrack. Worth it!

      @@TrailPeek 3hrs for that descent looks absolutely worth it. How do you find out where the past Trans Cascadia trails are? I've tried looking for old course maps but have always come up empty.
