1921: A Dialogue through Poetry and Music

1921: A Dialogue through Poetry and Music is a collaboration between five Poets and Musicians who were commissioned to create new poetry and musical works on the theme of 1921. Their combination of words and music will lead us past the hard politics of the era to reflect more on a social, cultural and creative Ireland and, in doing so, combine the mythical with the political, the past with the present and the local with the international.
Our Poets Luke Morgan, Nuala O Connor, Emily Cullen, Louis de Paor and Noelle Lynskey worked with musicians and composers, Ciaran Cannon, Jake Morgan, Ger Fahy, Dana Lyn, Emily Greaney, Tomas & Roisin Mannion to combine words and rhythm in their expression and exploration of this dialogue.
