I'm so happy to see you in Nepal and Kathmandu. I've been there twice and the second time was actually our honeymoon trip (my husband is from India) in 2015. We ended up surviving the massive earthquake that happened there that time, but it left me carrying the tremors and dealing with years of PTSD. Not a day goes by that my heart doesn't find the people and those memories of Nepal. I hope I can one day return to Kathmandu with my family, we both loved the city and its wonderful people so much. Really loved watching this video, sending love from Kerala, India :)

Its just difficult to negotiate and get a fair price if you have no idea what the normal average price should be 🤔
@@hba2019 yeah you can always ask a local friend or someone who works at the hotel you staying. They will gladly tell you how much you should expect to pay for a particular thing. But it’s not always gonna be easy to negotiate I’ll give you that.🥳

I actually think refusing your money has to do with pride. Not generosity. I tried to let them keep the change everywhere, and you could see they were often too prideful to keep it. I had to doggedly insist and even then many guys wouldn’t accept.

Hi Shev and Dev- I watched your videos and I found them very authentic ,funny and natural. I must also say that you both are very grounded and have an amazing attitude, which was very refreshing. I have so much fascination for South Africa! I had a wonderful opportunity to go there in 2020 to teach the supply chain management program, but my company asked me to do the training program remotely from USA. You guys are just in time for the new year celebrations In Bhaktapur! Please go to Taumadhi Square, Bhaktapur this Sunday. You will see a grand performance of hundreds of dancers happening there this weekend! The preparations are ongoing heavily this whole week.
It would be awesome if you could witness the jatras currently happening too. BISKA jatra is going to be an epic festival, happens annually in Bhaktapur. Definitely you should see how it's celebrated! Please ask locals on information like where and when Biska jatra processions start, and What time Taumadhi Square dance starts as well. Good luck Dev and Shev!
